He was used as a bargaining tool and sounds like he was pressured by his family and Lacy's family. He let the best thing in his life be taken away from him.

I can imagine and feel Keeley's love for him!!! It's practically swimming out of this novel! Aaron loves her too, he just didn't know how to show it and of course, also because of all the dangers lurking around them 😭 So, Aaron, how is this time different? How can you protect Keeley now when you couldn't do it before? You probably didn't even know that Keeley was killed in your previous life!
