Her mother's behaviour is getting a bit annoying now. She's making issues out of nothing literally. Not even thinking about how hungry her daughter might be.

Why doesn't she just call her mom "mom" or "mother"? It just seems a little odd and makes it seem like they aren't close.

I like the introduction chapters. sounds realistic except the surprise Lily had to endure. what? 24 notice to get married to a stranger? But is it realistic a cardiologist at 22? As there was no mention that she a genius who accelerated in school
