I feel like their should still be harsher consequences for the nobels of the geyser kingdom, Leon at least should execute some or cripple their cultivation

I don’t necessarily disagree with that and your right the demon worshipers are a bigger threat but you simply cant trust these nobles and would always have to monitor them because they might do something harmful
FunnyBuns:Depends, surrendering only bought the Duke's life from what was written, also there is the fact that the Devil Worshippers are indeed a problem, something like forced military service would be more helpful than killing a Transcendent that can be used in combat and only numbers a few hundred currently in the Empire. For people who believe themselves superior to others a life of servitude to those they consider inferior might be worse than death.
