Hello author! I just started this but I would like to point out that your writing is already leagues above the normal ones I've read here recently. Most other authors seem to focus too much on dialogue, but you already display a much better grasp of prose! And your lead-in is wonderful! Not too much of a 'knowledge-dump' while still portraying a good mix of the MC's modern character while giving us a sense on how she already has some ability to legitimately navigate this type of historically based world! Again, I'm so happy to be reading some good prose!!!! Thanks!!

Malory-san your writing seems to not fit the fantasy setting and I somehow can't explain. Maybe try to read Light Novels on fantasy if you want to write this casually. But if you want to improve and grasp fantasy storytelling, I suggest reading Featherlow: Bird out of Paradise, from our fellow author ElaryWakeField(?). Anyway you can always write the way you want to if you want! Screw the demand! Go wild Mallory-san!
