Since another chapter is up ill put a fun fact about the world tree. Many mythologies have special trees. for example the world trees(which are supposed to be singular unique existances, of which i know of the norse Yiggdrasil and the korean one (called the divine birch tree i think?), and i think there was a sacred tree in some native american mythology. In jewdaism and christianity there is the tree of knowlage that adam and eve ate its apple. jewdaism also has the sepiroth which is depicted as a tree. Other than those singular trees there are other mythological trees who have special abillities, for example the tree of the phoenix, the divine trees used for sealing demons in shrines in japan, the bodhi tree that can enlighten those who seat beneth it. even ancient egyptians has special trees mentioned in the book of the dead. Other then those special trees(and others that i didnt mention) there is also stuff like the druids which are people or race who lives with trees and can control them or recieve power from them and tree spirits like dryads who have various abilities depending on the mythology you are looking at. Over all, every single mythology/culture has some relation to special trees, wether they are singular existances like the world tree or just special trees that exists, and that makes me wonder just why did every single one of the ancients have this concept? Like they say in every story there is a grain of truth
