I've never liked weak male characters. I get being in love and admitting when you've done something wrong but to drop THAT LOW in front of someone you love when you've done nothing wrong is bad in every way. Yes, Ethan has done NOTHING wrong, it's all been done to keep her safe. If anything, it just shows his insecurities and lack of back bone. There is nothing romantic about prostrating yourself when you're innocent. Please don't make Ethan that weak again, even in front of Lexi. It makes me lose respect for him and her.
