It's called wisdom my friends, wisdom. When you're old enough to know brute force is not always the answer. Probably got into a lot of fight in his younger days and probably got tricked many times before learning this lesson.
eastinson:Ummm....wisdom would be to just admit defeat without enticing any bet as before there were no stakes. The trick was completely useless and accomplished nothing besides losing starting clothes
Hmm donât know if itâll be explained in future chapters, but saying that everyone in town loves Bree, seems to be an inconstancy. She obviously faces racism on a daily basis by ppl like that other waitress who was fired. Also, why is everyone tolerating such blatant rude behavior from Hendrick towards Bree as well? What has he been commissioned to do for the village I wonder
Some comments mentioned that it was "wisdom" to tricked the villains, but the villains didn't even lose anything and they can always make problems for MC again. Seems like some people forget that the villain only was at level 50, each level up gives 5 stat points, and although the MC wasn't at level 10 yet his stats alone was more that what level 50 should have and that's excluding all of his equipments where some even gives +20 points to each stats. Base on these I found it hard to call it "wisdom" to avoid a fight where he could easily won and even kill the villain to remove all problems at it's root. What the MC did is plain STUPIDITY.
