This feels so out of place. One more second rate villain vibe like the elf who's name I already forgot

I'm still refusing to believe that Vastor is such a moron to the point of not canceling his little holiday after his abom kids found the leviathan hitman stalking his wife. And why tf these bunch of mutts, that should be on their last gasps in terms of numbers and influence, were able to get a hold of his personal schedule to the point of setting up this whole ambush? and how can they be so motivated even when they are dying like freaking flies? since when were the courts so heroic? they have always been portrayed as selfish, treacherous and afraid of dying, submitting only to the horsemen, because of the powers they offered. what is being offered for them to hold the lines now? even a disciplined army would have disbanded after the thorough beating the courts received, much less these rats. what gives?

I find it hard to belive vastors kids aren't chaos warping to his location

Makes no sense they prepared so much for him including arrays when they thought can kill him as easy prey. They even said he's only blue cored. Assumptions clash with action.
