what a tough read this is, after waiting more than a weak, getting this mess of a chapter is such a disappointment. The tonal shift between epic and ominous to ridiculous Benny hill theme type shenanigans feels like writer just doesn't know what to do with his story so he's trying and failing everything at once. seriously I wish he would pick a lane and stick to it long enough for a natural conclusion, instead of undercutting the tension with slapstick humor, ruining his own setting and characters on the process, turning them into clowns and the plot into a circus.
"the sparkling of metal, the shiny gems, the majestic elemental power!" - The Babies
what does it mean for the armor to be understated???
shhhh... não expõe o legion desse jeito cara, daqui a pouco todo mundo vai perceber q ele parou de prestar atenção no que escreve faz tempo
when author endengers children to move the plot forward so much that even the characters themselves stop taking it seriously
I was rereading the novel, and I'm at the Ranger arc, where the courts are properly introduced. I gotta say, what a nosedive in writing quality this novel took. The courts were portrayed as individual organizations, each with their own views on the world and operation systems. Now they are just some scrooges that make me cringe when the author uses them to manufacture tension. It's so shallow it's disappointing. Vastor's evolution looks hype and all, it's a shame it got mixed up with the lazyest antagonists and most contrived scene to ever appear in this story.
maybe
the way author conveyed how Sunny's Flaw is applied was amazing, everyone that thinks otherwise is wrong. these scenes with the "oh cr*p" moments of realization how deep in s*it the kid is were WAY better than having it stated in a System message. it's 'Show, don't tell' at it's finest.
a laughed hard here
is shadow slave or supreme magus older? are they ripping each other off or are they both plagiarizing some other work? because this is grounds for a copyright infringement if I ever seen one...
oh boy, it's the Jim Carrey's movie version of the curse: he not only cannot lie, but is compelled to be as honest as possible. RIP sunny, his suffering shall be my amusement
almost
"did you get a true name?" -hahahaha imagine me getting a true name, that's a fertile imagination you have sir(did not lie, did not expose having a true name, did not sit there in awkward silence)
