I don't think the merge will happen just yet. Lith will learn a life lesson, the Void will mellow out, and the Dragon will finally get a lil peace between the two. M'Rael will end up being erased from existence and probably everybody who followed him as well.

I hate this cheap expedient to make Lith's selves merge, it is lazy and there's already plenty of lazy novels in this app
