…while my wife and I have been known to argue on occasion, this was…weird. Like, bordering on someone messing with their minds because that escalation after not having had any issues at all for a long time was excessive. Is Salaark’s pregnancy able to affect peoples moods I wonder? Liths not wrong to be worried, but Kamis right. If the Kingdom can’t be trusted to take care of her (as a pretty high ranking constable no less), moving his family back (who are still seen as commoners by many nobles, have no doubt) is the same as killing them himself. The whole ageeement is a moot point if he can’t let her even go to work.

First and Last fight? Seems a bit fast if you ask me.

Kamila is Lith's last hope, if she dies we are going to witness the birth of a ruthless monster that walks on a path of destruction, and in this case, both of them are in the wrong. Lith is afraid to lose someone valuable like Carl and Kamila fails to understand lith's intentions.

lith has some solid points but really it boils down to he can't keep those he loves locked up on a shelf never interacting with the world

Lith may have broken Carl’s chain, but his shadow still stands over him. Subconsciously, in his mind everyone he cares about is a version of his brother that he failed to protect. The ones clearly stronger than him, though, he doesn’t show as much worry.
