As twisted as Jirni is in the head, she’s one of the best allies

All of those options seem stupid TBH. The only value the kingdom had was the life his family enjoyed. That has been destroyed beyond repair. Everything else can easily be replaced except for his house. Sure, his house has sentimental value, but his family isn't safe there anymore.

lith should give jirni a counter offer, return all things that belonged to my family ( since he is the criminal not his family) or I come and take them

I was wondering how long it would take jurni to show up, I figured it would be these two chapters or the next two. I guess it will be both :D. I‘m most interested in seeing what jurni suggests to lith for options based on her status as friend rather than as envoy. She may well have come up with an option or 3 beyond what was offically offered with which he can make a counter proposal. It would leave him dangerously exposed to her plotting, but then again she is a loyal ally and decent friend. Other than that she may expose information like the magic bottles that will significantly help lith in the long term and maybe even the short term as well. If that happens I wonder if he will trust her enough to let her meet solus and maybe even visit the tower.

There are some days it’s like having whiplash on whether or not we like a character, but at this point a collective “Feck off and die Peonia” seems pretty fitting.
