I just knew soon as he dropped that darkness sphere he was gonna do a quick fade. Liths used this trick a few times. Not to surprised he escaped. Gotta give Vladd a chance to not be useless. Time to track down the mercs base of operations and go all Guardian of Destruction and cleanse them to burn off some rage.

Grr I dislike the copycat has escaped once again. Let’s suppose he is not Night/Meln for a moment. Who else could possibly have such a grudge against Lith? Obviously have to rule out certain powerful individuals die to previous reading and their whereabouts during prior attacks. Let’s discuss

I feel like the author is drawing the copy cat ark out too much, the copy cat might be smart but at this either he has more plot armor than lith or the rulers/legal faction of the Griffin kingdom are the most inept people possible, how can EVERY dark/evil mercenary faction be hired and there movements not be detected, and that massive amount of money not have some trail, the list of people that strong in the Griffen kingdom are small, I feel like if you just audit them them it would lead to the copy cat.
