Yay no tournaments. To be honest i dont always hate them. Only when they are like 50 tournaments, whether they are normal ones or disguised as hunts and gathering competitions.

I feel like the MC will find a way to totally opposed that school in future.

Not too be harsh I really love your book and writing, but I was kinda hoping for something more. The concepts mentioned in this chapter are something I’ve seen a lot of times before. And I know it’s almost impossible to be 100% original. But the problem I have is with the school arc itself, it’s been done so many times it’s almost impossible to do something new. That’s why I think it’s a bad idea, why not go the random master/hermit route? That’s something that I’ve never really seen a lot of. Or maybe joining an organization as in Throne of magical Arcana. There’s a lot of options to gain knowledge about the world instead of attending an academy and at this point I can’t help but see it as lazy writing or a lack of creativity.

It's already chapter 50 and MC is still what? 11 years old? Kinda feels like author is grasping at straws atm. Skip the timeline please. Tired of this useless drama on what you want to decide on the next arc to be. FFS grow a pair and decide, but wrap up his childhood asap or I'ma drop.

Tournaments are absolutely necessary.Only with enemies can a MC grow stronger.

if i was him i would just go all out everytime, there´s no need to hold like he do, he could be there negociating with the king already

We have all seen scenarios where the MC in many a story got hunted down simply because he was 'heaven-defying' etc etc. I really get bored of the whole 'Academy' scene - or worse, the 'Tournament' arcs - where young geniuses declare their prodigious talents to their Clan's enemies. Why do we almost never see these 'Sons of Heaven' assassinated? The same logic applies, only so much more rational considering the kind of resources such individuals hold in their families. Sure, we don't expect open warfare but plots? Alliances aimed at eliminating such evident threats? True, the novels are about the MC but my point comes across; it is irrational to advertise your talents to the rest of the world. Even is it were in a controlled environment, the very nature of humanity and competition would mean that such prodigies would live very short lives. NO TO TOURNAMENTS!!!
