MC xcter does NOT match his experiences. He lives in a world where women rule. At least, the highest levels of power. Just a few chapters into the novel, it becomes clear that witches used their monopoly over magic to force the world I to submission. He KNOWS that Magi are automatically executed. He WANTS to learn all about his inheritance. ... And when he is captured he goes with the flow? No terror at his obvious fate? Then he is made or can be made into a battery. Where is the rage? The anger and helplessness at his fate? Your entire race has been wiped out but you barely even care? Someone here just said he doesn't know the Magi so there's no reason to be upset over their fate. Ok... But you are the same race. Right in the enemy camp. A slave already. The truth is that the author is only interested in developing the romance element to the detriment of all others. Allowed. But everything else must match the world and make sense.
I think an uninfluenced Ves would have directly interacted with the Ace. He knows by now that there is serious trouble coming over from Messer 87. Moreover, the more high-profile he is the better for him and his clan. At the end of the day, even if the Red Asso. values him, they will not coddle his brilliance by restricting his movements. They might actually permanently assign on ace pilot on his guard unit and still let him run around. I think the decision to go such a long way around with Alexa is a flawed decision influenced by the Crown. Sure, Ketis is 't an 'official' apprentice if this chapter is correct, but she has been with him for years and still hasn't grasped his skill. What makes Alexa special enough to succeed?
Full Disclosure: I have not read a single line of the novel save for the synopsis. I give this story I might never read a 4. Why? There is mention of a gf in the synopsis. I already detest romance of any sort in a novel. The only kind of romance is like we see in Desolate Era where the girl dies in the early sections of the book and is resurrected in the closing line of the novel. That is true love in my opinion; love should not get in the way of world-building, plot, story development, or stability of updates. The 4 is very generous on my part since in truth, I initially wanted to grade this novel 3. Again, I graded it a 4 because there is mention of only the one gf and not some irrational harem of some sort. That one is a crutch the author will milk for all she is worth, but since I will probably never read the story, I will leave it at 4. No. The 'Spoiler Alert' is not me trolling or being mean. I fully expect the MC to 'grow in character' by responding to his gf being kidnapped every 40 chapters. He is already getting freebies so this line of plot progression is not unrealistic. Author-san, prove me wrong.
Not sure about the mechanisms, but they can ve forced to resign. Even sell shares. Share dilution into scrap paper is one of the more common ways. There can be a 'round' of financing forcing him to infuse more into the company to keep shares. We already know he wasnt keen on money, implying he was careless about his shares. His company may hv bn in csr with organizatiins like the orphanage. They culd threaten to cease all support etc Still, it was a bit rushed.
