This also explains Dokja's rough school years. Besides being a bit of a geek, he didn't really have a reason for getting bullied the way he was. A child of a murderer would almost certainly get targeted by the ignorant adolescents in high schools who lack the maturity to see the nuances in such situations.
"Its a different matter when my life was turned to money by someone". Oh. That one sentence explains a lot, actually.... I was kinda like Dokja too when I was younger. No murders, but books were my life for a while. Most of my childhood. This is really a story you just gotta reread to understand every piece 😔 I shall keep reading faithfully to the end. Also, Sangah is sweet and sympathetic. I don't mind the ship. (And nevermind that Dokja x Jonghyuk is never gonna be canon anyways because it never works that way, *cough*)
Damn this was heavy. I can't blame the mother too. Father is a deadbeat abuser. You can't justify killing someone because of some warped sense of justice and self-righteousness ingrained in us by a judicial system that is inherently flawed. Some people just want to watch the world burn, and those people shouldn't be treated as human. Those are beasts, and beasts should be hunted down.
Go Yoo Sangah, the fact they always have touching moments and he has someone he can open up to is great and the way she knew to comfort him these two are always looking out for each other. I don't like how people want him to get with Jonghyuk when it is clearly a gag. Also it would break their characters I can't see him opening like he did with Yoo Sangah if it was Jonghyuk nor him offering comfort. As for his mother I feel she wrote the story to get it out there, but the money was used to clear the father's debt and for Dokja. After all if she really got a lot of money she would have been able to pay a fine and get released sooner on god behaviour. However she really should have used a pen name so people didn't track it back to Dokja and bother him about it.
