Honestly it was disappointing, basically, he does nothing and pretends he is controlling something.

Actually in original LN, 666 (Trihexa) is weaker than Ophis and Great Red. It is stated that the Infinite Dragon God in her full power, complete true form (not divided to be Ophis & Lilith (Ophis clone)), is stronger than the Beast of Apocalypse. Also, Ophis CAN actually defeat Great Red. It is just her chance of winning is smaller than the Dragon of Apocalypse. That's why she created Khaos Brigade in the first place, to create an army strong enough so that she and her army can defeat Great Red.
