Evernightlord
he just wanted to give him a general overview of the world and powerhouses as the kid was interested in using magic. he didn't tell him all that because he wanted him to become a mage the next day. he also mentioned that other children at his age "like those royals" had already started cultivating magic.. so no big deal telling him... also you can see he was sad because he found that the kid had no magic channels. at least he could do was tell him about those things so that he sholud be careful when he grows up.
That's so stupid, telling all this information to a 3 year old child and believing that he will remember everything. Also, should have informed about all of thiy slowly in bits and pieces instead of throwing all of them for the reader to disgust everything... Information should be told through the story, this isn't a knowledge book
Itās funny how contradictory the advice seems. First the author... er, I mean the master level magician tells the boy not to use his mageroot until his body matures, then he gives the child a huge info dump that should be way over his head and finally he tried to explain his actions (to us readers) by comparing the intelligence of this random village child to the most powerful characters on the continent. š¤Kids that talented couldnāt have possibly followed his advice to await the maturity of their mageroot before cultivation. So... what was with that advice? š¬If we assume he saw the boys crippled magical pathways and decided magic practice was detrimental to his health then, logically, he shouldnāt have gone into the massive magical info dump of a lesson in the first place.š§ šEither he is a genius or he isnāt, the magical master... er, no, the author should make up their mind. š§
