I know its important to know the backstory but you really made lance feel like a prick. make him more apologetic in the next chapter or something cause my opinion of his friends and their attitude has dropped considerably.

Why make Lance look like a prick that's messed up dude maybe he changes over time to be like in the anime but still. Most Dragon trainers are strict when I come to things like Pokemon I just don't appreciate Lance being the ahole. When we know he is not. Plus that eevee pissed me of honestly. Even if it's light-hearted allowing your Pokemon to bite other people is ridiculous. That like me letting my dog bite my friend and saying goodboy. It unethical. But Anyways thanks for the chapter

Thanx for chapter! I also just want to say I appreciate the realism you added to the pokemon backstory. Pokemon had to cut corners to make it G rated, but clearly scrub pokemon like rattata are just meant to be food for predator pokemon. So the new story elements are refreshing.
