I can see the council members already: Yeah we'll have a tier 6 but what about a second tier 6? (the queen should also be close). Honestly if the Colony starts building a bit tall (invest in some of the high levels) rather than wide (invest in numbers) I think they will become a true powerhouse. Lets say they go for something like 5-6 tier 6 then funnel someone (ahem Eldest) to tier 7. Thier strength would be bonkers for 1st-2nd and maybe 3rd stratas.

The colony should just train an elite squad of 50 or so ants that are on par with the current Anthony. Just funnel a massive amount of resources in a few "selfish" ants and just have that as an elite squad. Just imagine 50 Anthonys

They should make Anthony 1 or 2 level above the others. Having 1 powerhouse really will help the Colony when they are facing a tough enemy and also assist in leveling the council and other members

Interesting. Quality over quantity! This might be another incentive to not overpopulate! I hope the queen starts with better options for more quality hatchlings

I like this concept you've created for improvement in the tiers.

The Colony should start experimenting on how much cores beyond limit can be absorbed without dying. If doing so with ant is too much, they should at least try doing this with other species. I'm sure there are some ants with suicidical tendeciens which will die happily
