It seems like Protectant and them is built towards camouflage and coordination than actual combat much less a guarding force. A proper bodyguard should be a deterrent against threats instead they invite conflict by hiding and only help when it's time to throw their lives away to save Anthony. They should quit their jobs of trying to protect Anthony from himself much less from actual threats to him such as Titus so they can form a team of spies instead and collect valuable intel on the Colony's enemies and upcoming dungeons if they actually want to help instead of merely "dying for the Colony".
I think Anthony's mental issues is coming to play. So when at young age when experiencing trauma the brain will try to push at the back of your mind or twist it into making it seem normal. I think Anthony lack of familial love is starting to affect his decision making. I am not saying he was wrong in killing them, however, his heart was unsure but the praise from his sister's pushed that away. So how morals and such forth don't hold a candle with the colonies. Or maybe I am just overthinking it
