Thanks god the author clearly explained the coin system of this novel, I was having a headache trying to keep up with how much the MC was expending... So it goes like this then: 1 pound = 20 soli 1 soli = 12 pences 1 pence = 2 halfpence or 4 quarterpence So on a pound there is a total of 240 pences The MC receives 3 pounds weekly = 60 soli = 720 pences He was able to take out 4 weeks in advanced of payment, which would be 12 pounds = 240 soli = 2880 pences He should have around 2800-2840 pences, I don't remember how much the cane cost

I swore off starting anything with less than 300 chapters last week and I accidentally stumbled into this... Glad I didn't put it down!

After a few months of not shooting, being tense and uptight is normal, so much so that just picking up a 22LR and shooting a couple dozen times could be tiring mentally and can lead to being physically tired as well. So this could be a plot-point for why Klein was sore after 30 shots.
