JD is Overgeared. It will take a special blow to hurt him. It's fine as it's pretty much how anyone playing the game will end up. I mean who have never maxed out Smithing and Enchantments just to craft themselves awesome gears. I wasn't patients enough to do Alchemy too but at that point who needs it.
