I feel like the MTA is manipulating Ves into spending all his money instead of hoarding it. An all the high bidders are in on it. They want to beggar him as retaliation

I still think this was the right decision. Not a single saved MTA credit in his bank account will be useful in a battle against the aliens. For the Larkinson fleet when it is doing a Deep Strike operation the only useful money will be that Ves has already spent on weapons and ships.

According to the current 3650/gram market rate, setting that earlier mech aside, this spear just cost Ves 21,17 Billion Credits!!! The RA owns the bank he uses, of course Jovy and the geezer would push him to go into debt!!! WHAT AN IDIOT!!! Worst part is, Ves gave the mechers all this leverage over him buying stuff he can't even use right now!!!!

what a stupid choice. he knows he needs to outfit his clan with first class mechs soon, he has so many other priorities other than giving a single mech an over powered weapon that has very obvious downsides. not to mention he doesn't even have a pilot that can use it, or one that is definitely going to be an ace soon, who also uses spear.

Ves is going to get something out of this when he gets a chance to study it to make a cheaper version of it

It’s worth. Destroyer weapons are super cool and ace pilots are the greatest weapons most forces have. I just wonder who will wield it; Ark, Rosa, maybe even Joshua?
