You know if he succeeds he could arguably be a 14th progenitor. Adding access for Norms and even maybe adding Mechs themselves to the Kingdom... though adding Mechs might be harder and require being a star designer

This story is amazing.

These chapters get us closer to understanding what the Mech Design System is. It could have been a training tool for the earliest mech designers to get a boost in their design abilities. No doubt the Kingdom of Mechs was created from a piece or the majority of the metal scroll
