a cornered beast is more dangerous than a fleeing one.. They might go full kamikaze and go down guns blazing and full of glory with the golden skull alliance be heavily damaged, or through some magical plot armor the alliance is fine because of outside help or through some breakthroughs.. at least this is my current prediction, we'll see how wrong ill be lol
I honestly hope there is a bigger threat that explains why humanity has to kill all aliens around them other than "survival" and "destroy all possible future threats." the shortwingers seem verry human like and could have been an species kept around, I get destroying species that can't be reasoned with but... I'm just uncomfortable with the genocide of a species just because they look and think slightly different than us and are basically a non threat.
