Im spit balling other Ideas for the Ranged mech but what about “holy bullets”? Or “blessed” Weapons? Letting the weapon or ammo “Get charged” By a Glow instead of the glow Spreading around with the goal of dealing “soul/faith/psionic” damage to the enemy mech Pilots, or perhaps Targeting the Connection between mech and pilot instead of just targeting the morale of the pilot?

Now the need to encourage the pilot to get closer in touch with spirit and have the spirit take on the control of the mech as the middle man Ves needs to go back and revisit his past ideas. So far spirits are used to stimulate emotions of people around the mechs and to control mechs to certain extent. And the approach Ves took was considering mech as a second person or a pet. What if Ves designs a Mech which influences mech pilot to assume mech as an external skin. And there are additional features spirits can help the mech pilot. Spirits can stimulate mech pilot's talents and desire based on mech type.

So... Ves is advancing "aim-bot" technology? The current "auto-aim" tech has its counters just as thoroughly designed. But an "aimbot" with unknown tech would be uncounterable!

I was thinking of the same thing for a while now that Ves' fixation on glows is not that directly related to his metaphysical man-machine symbiosis and this just confirms it.

Maybe there is a link to what Ves mom did with the superior mother (design spirit). Creating a link, making it an incarnation, whatever that means Lookin forward to more!
