Comments of chapter undefined of The Mech Touch

I'm actually starting to look forward to this arc. Truthfully at some point Ves will have to run a design team. A lot of readers dig at this author because of filler chapters. They consider every non mech designing chapter to be a filler. So far however each storyline has intertwined with the purpose of broadening Ves's abilities and company. It's all working towards the goal of creating awesome mechs. It's rarely filler in the end... (There is usually a necessary part in continuing the story) I think that the author is doing a good job. That said... Let him learn some computer science in this arc!! Please! It bothers our collective ocd.

"Ves Larkson?" "Yes, Commander!" "You will be in charge of designing the crotch area of our Mechs...the Codpiece Division!"

This marks a turning point in the story and while I am looking foreward to it I hope it doesn't last longer than a hundred chapters, this is a war after all so it should be longer than the expedition Arcs but not to long I hope. But dont worry about the system Ves, I am cerrain it will manage to keep track and award points for your design efforts in the war effort. I am certain Ves will have a veritable sea of points to spend by the time the war is over and he can check the system again, expecially if one or more of his designs gets adopted by the republic or if he gets partial credit for contribuiting to joint designs. Ves probably should of spent any remaining points to top off his physical stats before leaving though, perhaps he already did so to get Carlos his intelligence candies.

Ves has a senior level physics skill. Hopefully that is enough to get him onto a better design team. I don't think many designers know much about Crystallography either. So maybe those two skills will make him stand out.

Imagine if Ves hada sense of humor, ah he would be like 0.5% more likable.

I would have liked for Ves to spend some DP before departure, just to buff up a bit. And that pistol stored in the inventory!? Waaaay to convinient for my taste, but whatever.

Sergent in charge of draftees: Ves? Ves: Yes Sergent?! Sergent: Frontline Infantry! Now that would make a good arc.

Ves seems to keep forgetting that his last name, his relationship with a master, and his position in the Clifford Society will open doors for him... Maybe not at first, but I bet he ends up working under an officer that he out ranks in the CS.

I hope everybody realizes that the fact Ves can access his inventory is a potentially big deal. Ignoring the restrictions on what he can put in it, what it means is that the System is more than likely in Ves, not his comm. My suspicion is that his comm, however upgraded it maybe is just an interface device. Meaning Ves could find a way to access a different interface or possibly level up enough to not need an interface. Speaking of other interfaces, I'm wondering if Energy-Being-Maybe-Mom comes along for the trip. She could easily walk up to Lucky and grab his comm. She's already the reason Ves can't have nice things so her stealing his comm wouldn't even be a stretch.

This arc holds a lot of potential for ves to grow as a designer and leader. I hope that happens or the arc is a waste in my opinion.

Necessary filler chapters complete. Now to new stuff. Hopefully he'll pick up some comp sci knowledge so people can stop whining about it.

Should I skip the end of the war arc?

Wondering if he will have to work under his enemies and or if they will plot to kill him in war zones

I'm going to guess... This arc of story will talk ages and be alot of filler chapters

He is really moving forward

I come from the future. No spoilers here. The system will return on chapter 1069, but if you head on over there right now, you're gonna miss out on a large chunk of awesome stuff including the best chapter in the story so far.
