I'm trying to think of a character we've seen or heard about that could be future Barley. Nobody comes to mind so maybe we'll see him in the future. Wonder if linking with ves gave him the ability to analyze Mech weaknesses in battle. If so I wouldn't be surprised if he becomes a famous war hero. It sounded like he was already really talented even before be a showed up.

Now we return to the present.... Wherein Ves has spent 64k of the 80k dp that he set aside to improve his skills. Now we as readers return to the ancient quandary, will Ves ever improve his computer science skills or will they forever be incompetent!

I can't explain how much in love I am with this novel I was consumed in the mech creation process so much I thought mech fights won't be good and frankly wasn't interested in them at all but boy did you prove me wrong. I don't have much money so can't donate much but I'll do whatever I can just to show my appreciation to this gem of a writing
