"So, what do you like for the first date?"

Xia Sha's head was filled with a Bang of dizziness instantly.

She stares at the impeccable face in front of him. He is wearing such an innocent smile while planning a lot of despicable things behind.

Truly a devil in disguise.

She let a soft sigh and said, "Mr.Guan, I'm thankful for your help several times. I did. I can do anything you wanted me to do, but I can't go to date with you."

Guan Xian's face lighted up, his playful eyes were captivating alight with a wicked thought. "Anything except dating?"

Xia Sha began to regret her choice of the word right now. She should have realized a top capitalist like him was very good at playing with a word game.

"Yeah, as long as it doesn't break the law and my moral line." She said carefully. Guan Xian smirked, praised Xia Sha for being smart inside his heart. He was about to ask a form of the relationship if she didn't clarify herself.

"Sell me 5 percent of your shares in Xia Corporation then. I'll buy it with the highest price in the market?" He tilted his head and lean to the soft sofa.

Xia Sha furrowed her eyebrow, a complicated creased form as a sign of refusal. "Mr.Guan, don't push your luck!"

"You are the one who starts the negotiation here." He seated crossed leg. His posture and expression were not intimidating at all. However, it does make Xia Sha tongue-tied.

"That's because you keep demanding for payment!" She snapped.

"When?" he asked short and calm. Xia Sha was stunned for the second time. She blinks and tried to recall memories.

Damn it! He never directly asked for 'payment' for helping her. He was just complaining about how bad she treated him despite the fact he has to help her several times…

Guan Xian seems to be seen through Xia Sha's realization. It was hard to maintain his calm posture when he wanted to grin so badly. The satisfaction when he saw Xia Sha's dumbfounded face was priceless. It's too bad he couldn't take a camera and took a video every time her face change.

"Why? Cat got your tongue?" he teased, still in his calm demeanor.

Xia Sha's face went from flushed red to green before it turns black. She gritted her teeth together before took a deep breath and composing herself.

"Okay, but still, I don't want to go on date with you." She said in a serious face. Guan Xian did not look disappointed, instead, he calmly took a wine bottle and pour it on two empty glasses. The smell of good wine was relaxing. Unknowingly, Xia Sha has watched every move he made.

It was terrifying how someone could affect you. She felt as if she was under spell when she saw him replacing her mojito with glass wine but do nothing to stop him. The magic seems to last a little bit longer as she watches him lean in so close to her ears.

"What to do, you are stuck with me now." His hoarse, deep voice rang out. Chills run down through her bones. His hot breath was still lingering on her ears. It was ticklish. Only then she flinched and moves.

But it was too late. As she looks at Guan Xian's annoying grins before turn her head around to see the strangely too silent surrounding, she realized she has been tricked!

There is no one in the club VIP room.

Not a single person there except for two of them.

He was stealing all of her attention while tricking her into this date night. Wait, is that little traitor Ruan Jing Tian involved in this? because if he does, we all know he will be dead after this!

Her jaw dropped when she notice the background music that is playing in the room. Someone freaking played Can't help falling in Love by Elvis Presley. Whoever behind this just turn a loud clubhouse into a five-star restaurant for a romantic date night.

Xia Sha shifted her gaze from Guan Xian's attractive face to the wine on the table. She needs to regain her composure. The composure she has ingrained since the day she was born. But it so damn hard to do that under his hot gaze that never leaves her.

The silence felt uncomfortable, and Guan Xian seems has no intention to open a topic. Thankfully or not, two waitresses come bringing a tray with them.

"We have Salmon Tartar and Caviar Tapas for the appetizer, would you like Champagne or Vodka?" The waiters slightly bow ask he asked Guan Xian and Xia Sha respectively.

"Vodka."

"Champagne."

Xia Sha's eyes flare up at Guan Xian with an offended look. "Excuse me, you won't eating caviar with vodka in front of me." She furrows her eyebrow.

Guan Xian tilted his head and pressed his lips together. "Caviar was first served with Vodka, it's a venerable Russian tradition." He ignores Xia Sha's disgusted look and turns to the waitress. "Petrossian Vodka served in a frozen glass, please."

Xia Sha rolls her eyes and requested her favorite champagne to go with caviar. "Vilmart & Cie Rosé please."

Their eyes meet, both somewhat dissatisfied with each other choice. Xia Sha squinted her eyes before scoffing icily. Guan Xian shrugged his shoulder look at the dish indifferently.

The atmosphere becomes cold from their sudden argument.

They did not realize Xiao Ni and Ruan Jing Tian's helpless face behind the thick red curtain. Xiao Ni wanted to hit her brother's head so bad. She never saw him as idiotic as today.

"How could senior Guan become a womanizer with his skill?" Ruan Jing Tian subconsciously blurted out. He doesn't show any sincerity at all. Fighting over a drink with the girl you courted, is it worth it...?

Xiao Ni nodded her head, feeling the same frustration. When the waitress walk passed her, she stops him and snapped with a low voice. "Next time, don't ask them anything. Just give them the menu I've prepared, okay?"

The waitress has not recovered yet by Xiao Ni's sudden appearance subconsciously nod his head. Then he a blush colored his cheeks as he asked for a photograph.

Xiao Ni quickly signs on the paper he holds while Ruan Jing Tian told her to be quick before Xia Sha notices them together.

The watched two of the main character still sparing an icy glare towards each other as they finished their appetizer. Xiao Ni takes a deep breath and cheers herself.

"Don't worry, It just an appetizer. We still have a main course and dessert."

Xiao Ni self-encouragement proved to fail when the waitress asked them the wine they would like to go with the main course.

"You bring such a disgrace to the food!" Xia Sha's chest rose up and down after hearing Guan Xian's statement.

"I don't feel drinking red wine right now, how is that's a disgrace!" Xia Sha would never back up in defending herself.

Guan Xian looks like almost wanted to walked away from the room when she deliberately drinks the champagne and eats the steak. He scoffed and chew the meat roughly.

Xia Sha smiles subconsciously. This is the first time she finds a person that picky about savoring food with good alcohol. It was amusing and refreshing at the same time.

"Hey, about last time... I was just talking with your mother. Don't take it so seriously." Guan Xian's voice suddenly rang out.

Xia Sha has her eyes set on the food the whole time did not lookup. She paused for a second before nodding her head.

"I know," she replies curtly.

"Good, I keep feeling guilty these past few days. Moreover, I want our relationship to start with good memories instead of bad ones."

Xia Sha looks up in a confused face. How could their relationship start with good memories? He was there every time something bad happens to her.

She feels something strange and not right from his sentence...

There is a lot of question pop out from her mind, but she before she could choose what should she asked, Guan Xian has strike again. "Before you misinterpreted my sentence and use it to go against me, I will clarify the definition of the relationship that I was thinking."

Xia Sha lips twitched.

"What I meant is, we became friends but I might have potential feelings for you in the future. But don't worry, it's not there yet."

"..."

She was speechless. Never did she ever find a guy that acts so bluntly like this guy before her eyes. Her eyelash flustered as she blinks several times and slowly proceeds what he wanted.

So he was saying he might be interested in her in the future. But for now, he wanted to befriend her. The feeling is not there yet, so it might be there in the future?!
