"No, No, No, No! How could you do this to me?" Xiao Ni groaned and furrowed her eyebrow at Guan Xian.

"Are you are the one to complain? You freaking engaged to my best friend." He sneers and raised one of his eyebrows as a challenge.

"I..I..." Xiao Ni gagged. In the end, she scoffed her mouth and pursed her lips. Guan Xian went back to his breakfast.

"But rejected? really?" Xiao Ni just couldn't accept this happened. It's hard to accept that your brother likes your enemy, what worst than that? She rejected your brother!

Her face hurt from the slap.

"Hmm, That's right, Guan Xian how could you took fancy from someone from the Xia family?" Father Guan narrowed his eyes at him. Guan Xian stops chewing and wipe the crumble on the corner of his lips.

"What's the big deal? It was just a fun date, it's not like I'm marrying her. And for your information, Nobody can reject me. So three of you calm down, I got this." He said with much confidence.

Xiao Ni gives him a look full of suspiciousness. Though he knew his brother is capable, Xia Sha is not an ordinary girl. She has the burden to help him, she decided and take it as her mission.

This also helps her forgetting the problem with Wang Kai, who might have become somebody else father right now. At least for temporary, she could divert her attention.

"Xiao Ni, when are you going to the set today?" Mother Guan asked suddenly.

"Oh, I'm not going to the set today. But I have got an appointment with someone." She glances at his brother and grinned happily.

"Okay, Mom and Dad will fly to New York on Sunday afternoon. Guan Xian, you take care of your sister. Even if she's engaged now." His father put on a serious tone while he said this.

"Like I would let him step into this house again." Guan Xian answered sourly.

"Ruan Jing Tian! you might be idle, but I am a COO of a big company. I need to work!" Xia Sha stares at him with a hateful glare.

After almost raped by a fat ugly man on a club, Xia Sha can't even stand hearing the world club. Yet this stupid friend of her dragging her to the club today.

"Come one, loose a little! You are Xia Sha, how could you enjoy a boring office life. I'm afraid if I did not save you right now, you will end up like our spinster headmaster!" Ruan Jing Tian brushes his arms that got goosebumps just mentioning their headmaster.

Xia Sha gives Ruan Jing Tian a sharp glance. "You expected me to settle down with a man that I found in a club. Just how worse could it be?"

Xia Sha left Ruan Jing Tian speechless. Looking at how fast her logic work, he always wonder how could Ling Guang fooled her for so long. Must be black magic!

He doesn't believe Ling Guang could win over her logic.

"Okay! I'm going, to be honest with you. I heard Xiao Ni is coming with her movie crew today. Wait, before you judge me, I just want to live without regret. At least she needs to know how my feelings toward her."

Xia Sha rolls her eyes sarcastically. Ruan Jing Tian makes a pitiful face and rubbing his hand against each other. Mouthing 'please' every now and then.

Xia Sha sighs and tightens her clutch on her bag. "You've dragged me here, how can I run away." She scoffed and make their first step to the building.

A handsome grin broke on Ruan Jing Tian's face instantly. He fastens his pace and walks beside Xia Sha.

"You are my kindest fairy godmother!" He excitedly almost kissed Xia Sha cheeks. Xia Sha dodges and pushes his pouty lips away.

It was easy to spot Xiao Ni's crew since they technically reserved the whole second floor of the club. The problem was they need permission to get there. Two masculine men stand near the lift door. Xia Sha glance at Ruan Jing Tian, eyeing him.

Ruan Jing Tian quickly got what is Xia Sha thinking. He winked and confidently pull out a card from his suit pocket. "I'm the VIP member of this club."

Xia Sha wanted to smack his head at this right moment. She felt stupid for thinking he could arrange things other than showing his VIP membership card! It is a freaking private party, who would care about your club membership?

"I'm sorry sir, but we couldn't let you enter. This is a private party."

Ruan Jing Tian look gagged. His sight falls on the card and Xia Sha contentiously.

"I pay a million yuan a year to be a VIP member and I couldn't even enjoy my favorite spot in this club? What kind of nonsense is this?" He titled his head, looking disbelief.

Xia Sha wanted to bury her face inside a hole. After tonight, she has vowed to never step into any club again. The embarrassment in her stomach couldn't be held any longer. She was prepared to walk away when the lift door open. Revealing a man wearing a black shirt with a tedium expression.

She blinked while the man looked up. Their gaze met in a moment of a heartbeat.

When he recognized it was really the girl he wanted to meet. It was fate! Definity a heaven arrangement. The lazy expression on his face broke into a wide grin.

"Xia Sha! I knew you would be here!"

Xia Sha's face fell. What does that mean? He knew she would be here, in a club?

Her mood has deteriorated to the point where she could not even show a fake polite smile. Instead, she shows a visible frown and answer to that man snappily.

"Get out, I want to go home. You are blocking my way."

"Ckckck, it's not good for a girl to be continuously grumpy. You could age faster than girls of your age. Beware of the wrinkles!"

Just how annoying this man can be? Xia Sha scoffed icily, clearly infuriated by him.

"Then you should stop appearing in my life. That would make me have a long happy life."

The man looks shocked. He stares blankly at Xia Sha before shook his head in a dramatic way. "Xia Sha, I don't know I've affected your life to that point."

Xia Sha could not believe this man did not felt hurt at all. She has used the most hurtful words, but he still beautifully reply back.

"Anyway, what are you doing here? Oh… You and your friend." Guan Xian paused when he saw Ruan Jing Tian.

Ruan Jing Tian has not been afraid of anything, he did not even felt a nervous while back ago despite almost losing face. However, the same confidence man has lowered his head with trembling shoulders.

Xia Sha was a loss of words.

Who doesn't know this annoying man is an overly protective brother. There's even a formal rule written to get his permission to be with Xiao Ni. Once again, Xia Sha felt her high school is overly dramatic.

"Senior…" Ruan Jing Tian said it low, insecure voice.

Xia Sha glances unhappily at him. "Why are you lowering your head. He is not your grandfather."

Guan Xian actually agreed with Xia Sha's. He nodded and approach Ruan Jing Tian, even placing his arm on his shoulder in a brotherly manner.

"Yeah, I am not so scary. Even if you want to steal my sister from Wang Kai, I wouldn't object!" He actually grins and takes them to enter the party with his pass. Xia Sha unwillingly follows that two-irritating man from behind.

Ruan Jing Tian lifts her head, but still wearing those stiff smile. Guan Xian could felt his rigidness, those telling a few jokes to soothe the atmosphere. In no time, Xia Sha could hear Ruan Jing Tian's loud laugh.

"I'm going to find Xiao Ni first, two of you can wait here." Guan Xian said before walking away from two of them. Ruan Jing Tian was grinning from ears to ears. He sat on the opposite of Xia Sha.

"I can't believe I made friends with Guan Xian!" he almost squeals out of excitement. Xia Sha lips twitched as she sips the mojito she took when she passed the bar.

"Congratulation. Finally an achievement other than club VIP membership." She said sarcastically, raising her glass to Ruan Jing Tian lazily.

"Hey! They said I have the same authority as the owner if I become a VIP member. I will definitely cancel my membership here." Ruan Jing Tian grumbled.

Xia Sha was too lazy to be bothered. Instead, she shot him a suspecting gaze and asked, "Ruan Jing Tian, have you prepared your confession?"

The exact moment Ruan Jing Tian paused. His face turns morbid as he smacked his own forehead like an idiot. "OMG! I totally forgot about it! You are right, I haven't prepared anything!"

A low sigh escapes from Xia Sha mouth, carrying her aggravation. She closed her eyes and wave her hand. "Forget it, I'm going to leave you alone with her later. Just said whatever inside your heart."

Ruan Jing Tian nodded, but panic was written all over his face. Xia Sha leans closer to him and takes his hand. Warmth travel and calmness travel from her to Ruan Jing Tian.

Like she is hypnotizing him to relax.

"Calm down, you got this. It's not like you don't know her answers towards your confession. You just wanted to live with no regrets." She quickly reassuring Ruan Jing Tian when she saw Xiao Ni and Guan Xian's from afar.

Ruan Jing Tian nodded. Right, he only wanted to live without regrets. Even if he knew his confession today will change nothing, it won't hurt him. Because he has no expectation from the start.

When Guan Xian and Xiao Ni arrived at their table, Ruan Jing Tian has calm down and could act normally. But what unexpected is Xiao Ni pull Ruan Jing Tian's hand and said, "I've something to say to you. Brother, help me entertain Xia Sha here okay! Don't leave before we come back!"

The next second later, Xiao Ni and Ruan Jing Tian have disappeared from the room.

Xia Sha and Guan Xian look at each other, both mouth slightly open. However, Guan Xian quickly understands Xiao Ni's move and now smiling instead.

With a slightly deep, hoarse voice he looked at Xia Sha and said, "So, what would you like for the first date?"
