Finally Out
Jae-Hyuk came into the room early in the morning and turned off the TV. The other bodyguard came inside and told Jae-Hyuk something. Jae-Hyuk immediately woke up Min-Ju and told her that the doctor is here. Min-Ju then had to push BiYu off the bed and told Jae-Hyuk to let the doctor in
BiYu dusted herself off then the doctor walked in. The doctor walked in to tell Min-Ju to take care of her health and to rest at home. "When will I be leaving?'' Asked Min-Ju "Tomorrow, whenever they set up security"
"What do you mean security?"
The doctor was confused "You don't know. The press has been swarming the hospital for days"
"I'm sorry I didn't know. I'm sorry for the inconvenience." Min-Ju said sincerely feeling bad about the inconvenience she had caused
"It doesn't matter. What matters is for you to take care of your health. It can be very harmful to your body" The doctor answered before leaving
"Does everybody know about it?" Min-Ju asked knowing that if the press knew about it Su-Hyung would have had scolded her
"Yeah it's been all over the news you even released a statement about the incident" BiYu said as she shows Min-Ju the articles written about her hospitalization "People are saying it was a publicity stunt to gain popularity" Min-Ju grabbed BiYu's phone and read almost all the articles
"I never released a statement. I haven't even met the spokesperson or the management team. Do you know who broke the news?" Min-Ju asked because it could have been anyone she wasn't really subtle at the hospital
"I don't know I first saw it in an article then JinHai told me later in the day" Min-Ju sighed and read one of the articles and scrolled all the way to the end to see the sources and saw it was that the original article was written at where LiQiu works
"Did you find the original article" BiYu asks walking from the bathroom
"No" Min-Ju answered, deleting the article before BiYu could see it and handed her phone back to her
BiYu looked at her phone to check the time and she was almost late to work. She hugged Min-Ju goodbye and collected her things "I'll come again when it's my lunch break" She said before closing the door
Min-Ju finally had time for herself; she hadn't had much sleep even though the doctor told her to do so. She went to bed again without any interruptions but not before calling her mother in law to check on Yong-Sun.
BiYu was leaving to go on her lunch break JinHai stopped her to ask if Min-Ju was okay or not. BiYu told him she was okay. JinHai felt bad about what he said yesterday so he gave BiYu food that he made and told BiYu to give it to her. When BiYu almost reached Min-Ju's hospital room with JinHai's food she heard yelling coming from their room
When she reached the room Jae-Hyuk and the other bodyguard blocked her from entering and Jae-Hyuk told her to sit down and wait. BiYu tried to listen but she couldn't understand them since it was in Korean. The bodyguards tried really hard to listen and be interested in their screaming match
BiYu waited for 10 minutes listening until the yelling stopped when Su-Hyung stormed out of the room and ignored BiYu and continued walking to the elevator. BiYu went inside to Min-Ju sitting in silence looking out the window
BiYu didn't say anything but just hugged her. A tight squeeze and Min-Ju started crying. All of the emotions that she had felt let go all at once. Min-Ju cried and she couldn't stop. When she finished crying she told BiYu everything
She told her about her reasons for joining Su-Hyung at his investment parties in China. She didn't want to let him down. She wanted to work on the marriage that was already really stained but they got suspiciously close again in the last couple of months. She also told her what JinHai told her when she was already in a lot of pain, and she told her what she was arguing with Su-Hyung
They were arguing about the statement that she apparently released. "I didn't want him to put words in my mouth because I could handle herself. He thinks I can't handle myself. He has always thought that" BiYu didn't say anything she just nodded and gave her the best advice she could give to her
"If he doesn't respect you as a woman then leave. If he thinks you're inferior to the relationship then leave. That's what I learned defending some of the bastards I defend" She told her Min-Ju was really taking that into consideration
"Thank You" Min-Ju said in a low voice tired of talking "I brought food" BiYu said offering her the food "What's in it" Min-Ju asked
BiYu stumbled at her words and forgot to check what was in the bag. She was too busy listening to what Min-Ju and her husband were arguing about. "How about you see for yourself and tell me if you like or not"
Min-Ju took off the lid to the container that held the food and saw it was fried rice with beef and chicken and Min-Ju recognized it was the way it was cooked and was vaguely familiar. Min-Ju asked BiYu "Where did you get this?" BiYu didn't answer "It's from JinHai isn't it" BiYu looked guilty she simply just nodded "I wasn't gonna say anything but he insisted"
"I'm okay. He makes good food" She said gulping down the food "I'm leaving tomorrow morning" She added
"I have to leave but I'll come to see you out" BiYu said leaving giving her a hugged not wanting to leave her friend
Min-Ju through the afternoon until Mr.Song and Mrs.Kwan came to visit her. It was late in the evening when they visited. Min-Ju checked the time on her phone it was late and Su-Hyung didn't wake her up so he hasn't come back yet
Mr.Song was talking and having a conversation while Mrs.Kwan took out the food. "When you get better don't expect you not to get a scolding" He joked. While they were talking the doctor came in holding some papers
"Ma'am you have to sign these papers so we can finalize your release" Min-Ju nodded and read over the final agreements and asked questions to the doctor but was interrupted by Mr.Song
"Min-Ju has to sign papers I thought the adults had to do it" asked Mr.Song
"Min-Ju is a grown-up now" responded Mrs.Kwan
"Right," Mr. Song answered but Min-Ju was worried again, "I can leave in the morning?" She asked "Yes, after security controls the press. If that's all I will be leaving" The doctor said leaving and closing the door
When the doctor left they didn't dare to ask what just happened. Mrs.Kwan told MinJu to leave it alone so she did but it bothered her a lot to stay silent
They stayed through the night until the doctor came in to tell her it was time to leave and the press was put outside. You could see a swarm of people and cars outside of the hospital. BiYu came in with breakfast early in the morning and took the day off. She had to squeeze her way through the media
After they ate Jae-Hyuk brought Min-Ju a wheelchair for her to leave in. Mr.Song and Mrs.Kwan packed her things and gave it to the other bodyguard to put into the car. Min-Ju had to prepare herself because it happened before when it was announced she was pregnant. She was overwhelmed with anxiety and fear
They rode down the private elevator and Jae-Hyuk told them to go onto their own private cars and meet them at the house. They told his advice when Min-Ju told them it was for the best. When she was rolling towards the exit she told Jae-Hyuk to stop. She needed a minute before going out to the unknown
