43. Farewell For Now

Heya me again~ this is just announcement that this novel finally reach 100k word counts~

Not gonna lie but I didn't expect this novel to be this far i thought I'm gonna stop at 20 chapters, but then i found out writing this novel is really fun.

The problem is i don't have the time to writing because my busy schedule and tomorrow i need to go out of town too so maybe the release gonna be more delayed... But I'm still gonna trying to write little by little.

And then there is my other novel that i didn't expect to actually have a lot more reader than this novel because i made that just for fun...

After seeing that Vira had fallen asleep on my back, I continued on my walking towards my room. I planned to sleep next to her so that if Vira woke up I could be by her side.

I entered my room without running into anyone. As I walked in, I didn't see anyone inside my room, so I quickly laid Vira on my bed and covered her with my blanket.

I could see Vira smiling as she pulled the blanket over herself while she slept. Huh... she's really cute when her yandere traits are not present...

And it's not that I don't want to touch Djeeta, but Djeeta is a sword user who always fights at the front lines.

In Arc 1 of GBF, we are always fighting and fighting constantly, so I don't want to burden Djeeta's body after we do it.

"Djeeta, wake up, I forgot that I had a training session with Narmaya," I tried to shake Djeeta to wake her up.

But none of that worked at all because Djeeta is still sleeping, while hugging me tightly and pressing her whole body against me.

Hahh... in that case, I'll have to apologize to Narmaya later by giving her my cooking.

I decided to give up and finally hugged Djeeta with my right hand, then closed my eyes to go back to sleep.

And also Vira, I hope she hasn't woken up yet...

In the end, we woke up when the day had already turned into evening, and we both decided to shower together in Djeeta's room because each room has its own bathroom.

Like Vira, Djeeta had difficulty walking or standing after she woke up, so I had to carry her when we both went to the bathroom.

After cleaning ourselves, Djeeta and I returned to Djeeta's bed to discuss what we would do next.

"I'm hungry..." Djeeta said to me.

The two of us then go towards the dining area to see if there was any food left because it was already evening.

"Hey, look, both our stars have finally appeared," we heard Katalina's voice after we entering the dining area.

I turned to her voice and saw Katalina, Rosetta, and Vira sitting around a small table, chatting and drinking.

"Hey Katalina, Rosetta, Vira, we're both a bit hungry, so we wanted to see if there's any food left," I said to them.

"Hello, everyone," Djeeta who was on my back waved her hand.

The three of them, seeing Djeeta on my back, immediately understood what had happened to her.

"Ahh, so this time Djeeta got caught~," Rosetta said.

"Yes, yes, it was only a matter of time before I got caught too," Katalina joked.

As I suspected... they would definitely say that after seeing Djeeta like this.

I then looked at Vira, who was drinking her drink, but Vira seemed to know that I was looking at her, so after she finished drinking, she smiled and nodded at me.

It seems Vira has told the others what happened to her... but I don't know if she also told them about what we did or not.

"Hey Rei... I'm hungry," Djeeta said to me while touching my cheek.

After that, Djeeta and I were able to find leftover food from lunch. It seems that the food was indeed meant for us, but since neither of us showed up, they ended up saving the food for us when we show up.

After a few days had passed, Rackam had finished checking the Grandcypher's engine. Although he couldn't find any damage, he discovered that we had run out of repair materials for the Grandcypher.

Rackam said that we needed to go to Golonzo Island where we could buy equipment for the Grandcypher, so that became our next destination.

Meanwhile, Vira had to stay on Albion Island temporarily because she was the Lord of Albion Island. Even though her bond with Luminiera had been severed and she could leave the island at any time.

Vira planned to severing ties Albion Island had with the Empire, so this was a temporary farewell until she completed her plans and followed us.

Since Vira could sense where I was due to my energy that inside her, we didn't need to worry about how she would find us.

Currently Vira had become much stronger than before. We discovered that she could use my energy within her to strengthen her attacks.

I didn't know what other changes had occurred with Vira's body because we didn't have much time to do a lot of test and needed to go to Golonzo Island to purchase the things we need for the Grandcypher.

"So this is goodbye for now," Vira said to me.

We were at the place where Rackam landed on Albion Island for the first time and where we first met Vira.

"Yes," I replied to Vira.

We were holding hands and looking at each other.

"Although I'm not by your side, I hope you will remember me wherever and whenever," Vira said to me.

"Um, Vira, we're only parting temporarily... there's no need to be so dramatic."

But Vira didn't listen to me at all and continued speaking, "I've had to spend the last six years working as the lord, you see. And the thought of being stuck in this city never bothered me much. The others were waiting for me on top of the Grandcypher to finish my goodbye with Vira... and they were also looking at us.

"I never thought that crazy girl who only wanted Katalina could change like this," Vyrn said while shaking his head.

"Yes, but I'm glad to see Vira find someone who can at least answer her feelings," Katalina said, smiling as she looked at Rei and Vira kissing.

"Maybe after this, you'll be the next target~," Rosetta joked with Katalina.

"Haha..." Katalina could only laugh when she heard Rosetta's words.
