32. Visitor From Erste Empire

Heya it's me, wuthering waves just been released and I'm having so much fun with it.

I really like the exploration it's so fast and not wasting time because they move so slow, and the battle is fast paced too I really enjoying it.

"Rei!" While we were having a conversation, suddenly i heard Lyra shouted and then i felt she bumped into me and then hugging me tightly.

"Uh....Uh... I was so worried about you, when I checked on you, suddenly you already disappeared from your room," Lyria whined as she pressed her face against my body.

Hearing this made me sigh, and finally I stroked her long blue hair while saying, "Sorry Lyria, I also didn't expect to wake up in a different place."

"A different place? What happened to you, Rei?" Katalina asked me.

"Yeah, I thought you left because you had something to do," Vyrn also looked confused by what you said.

Hmm, it seems I have to explain what happened to me. I wanted to wait until we got back to the Grandcypher, but oh well, I'll tell them while waiting for Lyria to stop hugging me.

A few moments later, I finished explaining to them what happened to me after I teleported to another place and met one of the Juutenshu members.

"Juutenshu?" Katalina murmured upon hearing that name.

"Haha, even though you were in a strange place, you still helped others and saved that village," Rackam said to me.

"Yeah, my best pal number two always wants to help others," Vyrn nodded in agreement with Rackam's words.

"Fufufu, I'm more interested in the story of the girl named Tweyen and Rossie" Rosetta said with a look on her face like she wanted to do something.

Uh oh, this is bad. Suddenly, I felt Lyria's hug getting stronger and stronger.

Ugh, it's so tight! How can a small body like Lyria's hug so tightly?

"Hehe there's another woman~" I could hear Lyria murmuring something.

Hearing Lyria speak like that gave me chills...

Please, I hope Lyria won't turn out like the doujin I read before, where she changes her race to Draph and makes Gran her slave.

"*Cough* So, how about we head back to the Grandcypher now?" I tried to change the subject.

"I agree, I want to shower and rest soon, my body is covered in mud and dirt like this," Io said as she stretched her body.

Since they all agreed to return to the Grandcypher, I then tried to release Lyria's embrace.

But Lyria didn't want to let go at all and she just giggled non-stop "hehehehe...."

Oh wow, maybe I should listen to the words of future Lyria and more focus on the current Lyria...

I then looked around and saw that they were getting ready to return by checking their equipment.

Rackam and Eugen seemed to be talking to each other, probably discussing their time on the same team before.

Io and Rosetta were also talking to each other, but I couldn't tell what they were discussing as Io looked upset and Rosetta seemed very happy.

After checking her gear, Katalina approached Djeeta with the intention of helping her walking.

"Djeeta, let's go back," Katalina extended her hand to Djeeta, who was still sitting on the ground.

But Katalina didn't hear any response from Djeeta because she had been staring at Rei and Lyria the whole time.

Katalina was confused as to why Djeeta wasn't answering her, then followed Djeeta's gaze and finally realized why.

"Youth" Katalina smiled and stopped extending her hand to Djeeta before walking towards Rei.

"Hey Rei."

"Hm? What is it, Katalina?" I turned to Katalina who was calling me.

Katalina then patted my shoulder with a smile, "I leave Lyria and Djeeta in your care," and walked towards the others.

"Eh?"

I then turned to Djeeta, huh... Djeeta was staring at me and Lyria with an empty stare...Hmm, oh well...

"Alright, Lyria, hold on tight," I said to Lyria who still giggling since before.

"Eh?" Lyria immediately stopped giggling and looked up to see my face.

I then immediately carried Lyria using my left hand.

"Woaaahhh" Lyria tried to hold on to my head so she wouldn't fall.

Lyria's body was really light, to the point where I felt like I wasn't lifting anything at all.

"Rei! What are you doing?" I heard Lyria shout.

But I didn't answer Lyria's question, instead I started walking towards Djeeta, who was still staring at us with an empty stare.

Hmm, is it just me, or is her stare starting to getting darker?

I then stood in front of Djeeta and then crouching down in front of her while smiling.

"???" Djeeta looked confused by what I was doing.

"Uahhh" Without hesitation, I immediately carried Djeeta with my right hand.

Similar to Lyria, Djeeta immediately hugged my head... but unlike Lyria, Djeeta's chest is kinda big, so I could feel something soft pressing against the right side of my head.

"Rei!" Djeeta also started shouting.

"Hmm~ Hmm~ with this the three of us can return to the Grandcypher together," I said to both of them.

"This is a little embarrassing, Rei... at least carry me on your back," Djeeta said in a small voice.

"It's okay, besides, there are only the three of us here, look, the others have already left," I replied to Djeeta.

And indeed, the others had already left since I carried Lyria, it seems they knew I would fly with Lyria and Djeeta using my wings.

Lyria and Djeeta then turned to look at the others and realized that everyone had truly left.

"Hahhh..." Djeeta sighed and finally relaxed her body, leaning her body against my head.

As she did that, I could feel more of Djeeta's chest pressing against my head...

"Um, Djeeta, can you not press your body against me so much?"

"Hehe, I don't understand what you mean," Djeeta replied and she didn't change her body position at all.

Lyria, seeing the two of us like this, started to look at her own chest.

"I need to drink more milk..." Lyria muttered to herself.

"Alright, both of you hold on tight, I'm going to start flying," I informed the two of them.

Upon hearing that, they both started hugging me tightly... or more precisely, Lyria hugged me tightly because Djeeta had already been pressing her body against mine.

Then, I began flapping my four wings, and with a few flaps, the three of us flew into the air.

"Woahhh" I could hear Djeeta, it seemed like she was really enjoying this as she looked around to the right and left, taking in the view of the island.

Meanwhile, Lyria had her eyes closed because it was her first time flying without using an airship.

"Hey Lyria, you don't need to close your eyes. If you do that, you won't be able to enjoy this view," I said to Lyria.

"But..." Lyria sounded hesitant, but eventually she began to slowly open her eyes.

When Lyria opened her eyes, she could see a scene that looked different from what she saw when she was on the airship.

"This..." Lyria could see the scenery below them, something she had never seen when on the Grandcypher unless if she went to the edge of the deck.

Lyria also began to look up at the sky, observing the moonlight and the stars shining down on them.

The two of them could feel the slightly cold breeze since it was already night and they were flying in the sky.

"Achooo" Djeeta suddenly sneezed as she was looking at the scenery below them.

"Let's hurry back before both of you get sick," I began preparing to fly back towards the Grandcypher.

"Atheism" I used a force field to protect them both from the cold wind as I flew.

After being protected by the force field, I then flew towards the Grandcypher.

A few moments later, we finally arrived at Grandcypher. I landed on the deck of Grandcypher and could see that Katalina and the others had not yet arrived.

"Huh, it seems like we got here before the others," I said to the two of them.

I then helped Lyria and Djeeta off the ship. Djeeta's body seemed unsteady, as if she was still a little tired.

I wanted to suggest to Djeeta that she go back to her room to rest, but suddenly I felt something approaching us.

I immediately turned towards the source of that something and saw a large airship heading towards us.

I then focused on the emblem on the flag of the airship and immediately recognized it.

Imperial battleship...

"Djeeta, Lyria, I suggest that you both rest, but unfortunately something will disturb you again..." I informed them both.

"What? What else is going to happen?" Djeeta sounded so done with all of this, she just wanted to go to sleep at that point.

I then pointed towards the Imperial airship, and they both eventually turned to look at the direction I was pointing.

"Ehhh, is that an imperial airship?" Lyria seemed to recognize the airship, perhaps she had seen it often when she was still in the Empire.

The airship continued to approach us and finally reached the radius where they would typically fire something at us.

However, to my surprise the airship did not fire its cannons and just kept heading this way.

"Rei, Djeeta, Lyria, are you okay? We can see the imperial airship heading this way" Katalina and the others finally arrived while running towards us.

"Yeah, they haven't reached us yet, and it's strange that they haven't attacked even though they're within firing range," I informed them.

"Maybe they have a message for us," Lyria wondering why the Empire is acting strange.

I don't really remember arc 1 of Grandblue Fantasy, so I'm not sure why the Empire is suddenly here...

"Well then we'll have to wait for them to arrive to find out what they want," Rackam suggested.

"If they pose a threat, I'll use my magic to attack them" Io declared confidently while raising her staff.
