*DISCONTINUED*Ancient Tree Spirit [BL]

His whole life, Leo was made fun of. For his feminine appearance and big green eyes. Leo was always considered to be a weird kid. He would often talk to birds and rabbits in the forest. When he was young, he lived in a cabin in the forest with his grandpa and he would often play there after school. He lived there alone with his grandpa. Leo was found as a baby and the old hunter took him in and raised him, so Leo never meet his biological parents. Nevertheless, he loved his grandpa with all his heart. He taught Leo many survival skills and how to live off the land. Leo was taught how to determine if something was poisonous, what to and not to eat, and how to track animals. Even though his grandfather was a hunter, Leo absolutely hated it when he would hunt since he was friends with the creatures of the forest. Leo would cry and beg his grandpa to not hunt the animals, so eventually the man gave in and stopped hunting. He eventually took up wood working and carpentry and made a living off of it. Leo loved the forest and all it's creatures and everyday he would go into the forest to his special place. There was a patch of forest where there weren't any trees and there was a rock that sat in the middle of the circle. He would sit on the rock and all the animals including deers, rabbits, and birds would all go to him. Later on, he found that he was able to understand what they would say. He would always talk to them, but soon, that happiness was all ruined. When Leo turned eleven, his grandfather got very sick and without enough money to buy medicine, he eventually died. Leo cried at his grandfather's grave for many days. Eventually he was put into the care of Sarah and Dave who gladly adopted the boy. They took him in as their own and Leo lived a happy life, but after the death of his grandfather, he couldn't face himself to go back into the forest. In result, there old cabin was deserted and the forest was deemed haunted by the old hunter. Leo lived his life like any ordinary kid, but still was bullied from his peers. They would tease him and call him cursed. They said mean things to him everyday at school. He would often be called cursed, a freak, or a monster when he would talk to the animals so he never did it again for he wad afraid. The animals eventually stopped gathering around him and he never talked to them again. Later on he became the personal assistant of a man named Mr.Coleman who was the CEO of a major company. Who knows what's in store for Leo and his new boss. Hopefully love will unfold.

Crow

Ms.Amber and Leo took the elevator down to the fourth floor where Ms.Amber's department was. Her department was small with only six other people. They entered the office and she said cheerfully, "Hey guys, so this is Leo. He's new and he's gonna help us out." She looped Leo around his neck and said, "Chad, Jonathan, Cassy, Sammy, Mathew, and Simon. This is Leo."

"Hi," Leo said. He looked around the room and looked at everyone. Chad had copper hair and green eyes, Jonathan had blue eyes and blonde hair, Cassy had blonde hair with hazel brown eyes, Sammy had light brown hair with brown eyes, Mathew had copper hair with light brown eyes, and Simon had black hair and blue eyes. He wanted to make friends at his workplace so it could be a little more comfortable and like how it was at the cafe.

Everyone smiled and said, "Hi Leo."

Ms.Amber smiled, "He is going to help us organize our loose files and papers so it can ease the work load. Mathew grab the stuff."

"Okay." Mathew replied. He went into a side room and came back with two binders and a huge stack of loose papers. One binder was labeled Records and the other was labeled Events. He set the stack down on the table.

Leo asked timidly, "Um, Ms.Amber, what is your department about anyway?"

She continued to smile, "We are in charge of organizing and filing records of events. Like how much it costed, how much we made, how many tickets were sold, what the events were, and so on."

She gave Leo the same explanation of how to organize the files as Mr.Coleman did and he got to work. He looked at the stacks and came up with another plan, 'I'll separate them by what it is then, by date, then I'll file them into their correct place in the binder.' With his plan in mind, he got to work. While he was doing this, Ms.Amber and here partners were brainstorming and setting up other events and schedules.

Once Leo was done he sighed and leaned back in his chair. Seeing that Leo was done, Ms.Amber walked over to him and said, "You're done already, that was really fast." She looked through the binders and was wide eyed in shock, "And super efficient and well organized. You even went through past filings to make sure they were they same and nothing is out of order. No wonder the CEO has taken a liking to you."

Everyone gathered behind her to look at Leo's work and were all in awe. They were all shocked at how neat and organized everything was. They all looked through the binders before Sammy asked, "How did you do this so fast?"

Leo replied shyly, "Well, first I organized all the papers by simply what it says and is and I put them into protectors. Then, I separated them by the two categories, and lastly I separated them by date and filed them in the correct spot and while I did that, I made sure that everything was filed the same way to make it easier for the next person who looks for what they need."

Everyone was delighted. Cassy wrapped her arm around Leo's neck. She smiled, "Instead of working for the CEO, you should work for us. We could use someone as analytical and organized as you here."

Leo chuckled, "I actually don't mind my job right now, but if you do need me you just ask Mr.Coleman."

Simon said, "Wait, Mr.Coleman?"

Leo tilted his head, dumbfounded.

Ms.Amber chuckled, "Yeah the CEO has taken a liking to him and allowed him to call him Mr.Coleman instead of sir or CEO."

Everyone looked at her, to Leo, then back to her in disbelief.

She continued, "I know right, I didn't expect it either."

Everyone bombarded Leo with questions on how he did it and why the boss is so nice to. Leo got overwhelmed and said, "Um, I'll answer your questions another time. Now that I'm done I should go back. Bye everyone." before rushing out of the room.

He took the elevator back up to the sixth floor and walked over to Mr.Coleman's office. He took a deep breath before entering. He said, "I helped them with their work. Is there anything else you need help with?"

Mr.Coleman looked up from his computer and said, "Not really, for the rest of today, all I want is for you to do intakes of the records and put them in a word document then email it to me. You don't have to finish it today. There's a chair by the table and s computer, you can use that. The files are right behind that in a binder labeled intakes."

Leo sat down behind the table and got to work with the intakes. On the document, he structured it like how it was printed on the file to make sure he didn't miss any information. A couples hours later, it was nine o'clock and it was time for everyone to go home for the day. The only people left was Ms.Amber who took the last shift at the front desk, Mr.Coleman, and Leo. To his surprise, Leo finished the intakes and emailed them to Mr.Coleman. He got up and asked, "I'm going to make myself some water before I go, would you like anything from the break room?"

Mr.Coleman didn't look up from his work and said, " Yeah, I'll take a cup of coffee. Thank you."

Leo said, "Okay," before leaving the room.

He walked out of the room and loved how silent it was, while the coffee was brewing, Leo sat by the window and looked out. He gazed at the stars and bright moon in the sky. He became happy and calm. He opened the window and the cool breeze felt lovely on his skin. Suddenly a crow flew towards Leo and sat on the window sill. As it hopped around, he remembered the old days when he used to talk to them in the woods and hang out with all the animals and his grandpa, 'I guess it wouldn't hurt to talk to it. Just for old times sake.' He said, "Hello, how are you doing?"

The crow hopped towards him and said, "You must come back tot he forest and protect us. There is something wrong there, an evil aura is covering the land. Please you must come back, you are the tree spirit, it's your job to take care of the forest."

"What do you mean tree spirit? And I'm not going back to the forest, not after what happened." Leo said sternly.

"Please, you must come back to us. There is something wrong, you must come back." the crow pleaded.

"I'm not going back there. I've already told you many times that I won't go back and-" Leo was cut off when he heard chuckling in the room. The crow flew off and Leo turned to see who it was. He turned and saw Mr.Coleman standing in the doorway smiling. He said, "So you can talk to crows apparently. And what was that about you not going back?"

He walked over to Leo who was still sitting in his chair, no shocked to speak. Mr.Coleman leaned over so he was right above Leo and said, "So can you talk to crows?"

Leo panicked and said, "N-no, you're just hearing things!"

"Oh really, cause it looked like you were arguing with that crow a moment ago." He was smiling and obviously amused.

Leo hurriedly got up and finished up the coffee. He said nervously, "Here's your coffee I better be on my way."

As Leo held out the cup to Mr.Coleman and as he was grabbing the cup from his hands, he rested his large warm hand on Leo's small and delicate one and held it there. Leo's face flushed as he felt the warmth of both his hand and the coffee. His cheeks turned pink and he said, "U-um, Mr.Coleman, could you let my hand go?"

He snapped out of his daze and said, "Oh, yeah, sorry. Thanks for the coffee, you may go now."

"Ok, good bye. Have a nice night." Leo said before he waved and left the room.

Mr.Coleman waved him off and was left alone in the room. In the silence and coolness of the night. He leaned out the window sipping his coffee before setting it down and placing a hand on his face. His cheeks became slightly pink and his heart was beating fast. 'He was so cute with his pink cheeks and delicate hands. They were so soft and smooth. I'm gonna have a lot of fun later, I can't wait to see where else on his smooth skin is pink.' he chuckled as he sipped the rest of his coffee.

Leo took the elevator down to the first floor and went to the front desk to check out. Ms.Amber looked up at Leo and said, "Hey Leo, are you checking out for the day?"

"Yes I am, Ms.Amber." Leo said with a smile.

He checked out, bid his goodbyes and was on his way home. He walked back to his apartment and once he got inside. He sighed with relief, "That was such I busy day. I'm just glad I'm home." He made himself dinner, ate, took a shower, washed the dishes, then plopped into bed. He layed down and thought, 'I wonder why he dazed out while touching my hand. Maybe he was tired or something?.... Well I can't do anything so I might as well go to sleep.'

He snuggled underneath his covers and drifted to sleep.
