Who's the Strongest? I

Next Day | 10:00 AM

At exactly 10 o'clock, Toji had already gotten up. Fortunately, there was no alarm, and Ki Yeng would come to pick them up at 12, so he had plenty of time to warm up and have breakfast.

Quickly rising from his uncomfortable bed, he decided to head to the shower. Upon entering, his body received a cold welcome from the refreshing water, which cooled and refreshed his muscles.

Dressing in loose black pants and a baggy sweater of the same color, he decided to prepare breakfast and devour his hearty meal, which, to him, was humble but packed with calories.

After finishing his breakfast, he decided to start warming up, doing pull-ups, basic abdominal exercises, cardio, and push-ups. It wasn't too difficult; it was just to maintain his physique. He did 150 of each and spent an hour on cardio.

While this might seem like an inhuman amount to many, Toji's body was special, a gift from the heavens. Yuki Tsukumo herself commented on it to Tsuguru Geto after her humiliation against Toji, "He's a superhuman in every sense, so you shouldn't feel bad about losing to him." These were the words of the special grade sorceress. The truth is, if Toji hadn't underestimated himself and had killed Gojo, Jujutsu Kaisen wouldn't exist as we know it today. Be that as it may, he didn't care; he just wanted to become stronger and avoid encountering Makima until at least Denji's arrival in the plot.

Even though Denji already existed as a character, he wasn't important or relevant for some time.

Now that his thoughts had turned to Chainsaw Man, Toji had been contemplating making a contract with a demon; it would undoubtedly give him a boost in strength.

After that thought crossed his mind, he remembered that demons usually demanded something in exchange for their respective powers, leaving him with two options.

1 - Make the contract, something that obviously wasn't an option, so...

A smile spread across his face, his typical killer smile filled with a desire for battle, manifesting like a curse from Jujutsu Kaisen that everyone feared.

2 - His second option was to overpower the demon with which he made the contract, although he hadn't confirmed whether this would work, as contracts generally favored demons. But there was still hope of achieving it.

Stopping his thoughts and allowing his body to cool completely, he decided to get up and take another shower.

Ten minutes later, Toji emerged from his refreshing cold shower and sat on the sofa while eating potato chips.

As he ate, gazing into nothingness like any man, suddenly the tone of a call echoed through the room as the room's phone, which was near the window overlooking the city, vibrated uncontrollably, waiting for the call to be answered.

Toji set aside his potato chips and rose to his feet with a single jump. He walked calmly to the phone and picked it up.

"Who is it?" he said after picking up the phone in a calm voice, one hand in his pocket, and the other looking out of the window.

On the other end, Ki Yeng's voice came through.

"5 minutes, Toji," said Ki Yeng, only to hang up without providing any further information to Toji.

Toji listened to Ki Yeng's words and hung up the phone. Without any rush, he went to his wardrobe and put on his casual battle attire, which, despite looking very casual for battle, was comfortable and versatile. It also made him look cool, so there was no reason not to wear it.

Without any hurry, he changed his clothes and took a sip of water.

He left his room and, in doing so, noticed he wasn't the only one present. Sawatari and Katana Man emerged from their rooms at the same time as he did. Without exchanging greetings or words, the trio headed towards the hotel's entrance.

Sawatari and Katana Man were waiting together for the plan to begin.

What the Chinese men didn't know was that Katana Man's plan was many times more intelligent.

Katana Man and Sawatari would take advantage of the moment when Toji was at his weakest in his fight against the Top Hunters and Assassins, meaning when Toji defeated them, they would assassinate him from behind and take his body to use as a puppet, thanks to Sawatari's demon, which would allow them to control him.

If their plan went perfectly, they would have a powerful weapon at their disposal. They had no doubt that Toji would emerge as the victor, which is why they would ensure they were there to deliver the final blow or, in case of failure, not make any moves.

Both Katana Man and Sawatari knew that this was their last chance to kill Toji; if it went wrong, there would be no turning back.

Once they reached the exit, a limousine and a car were parked at the hotel's entrance. One man from each vehicle got out and approached the trio of assassins.

The first man, dressed in an elegant suit with a marked and attractive face, had fairly unremarkable Asian features. The other man was bald and muscular, with Chinese Kanji-shaped scars on his head, and his eyes and features were also Asian but older.

The bald man who had come out of the car approached Toji. Toji noticed that the bald man bristled a bit when the bald man looked at him, but he maintained his composure.

"Are you Toji Fushiguro?" said the well-dressed Asian man, maintaining his politeness even if he was scared, keeping himself upright with an apparent air of confidence that only served to conceal what he really thought and felt.

After those words, Toji simply nodded, and the man nodded in return, leading Toji to the car with him.

From the very beginning, Toji knew he was being led into a trap, but he didn't care. He would let them lead him and show them what happens when they hunt the hunter.

Getting into the back of the car, Toji reclined and looked out the window absentmindedly, as if nothing was affecting him. At that moment, the car began to move in a new direction, one that was unknown to Toji.

On the other hand, Sawatari and Katana Man were led to a secret location where their reward awaited – the promised weapons storage.

They were three blocks away from the hotel, in what looked like an old garage. Once they entered through the large metal door covered in black paint, they saw a large white container.

"Open it," Katana Man said, looking at their guide with suspicion and caution. Obviously, they needed to check and ensure that everything was complete. Only a fool would believe someone like Hiroshi; with them, it was an exception.

Without protesting or getting angry, their guide opened the container. Inside, they could see basic firearms like M16, Ak47, and P1911, but they weren't the only weapons. Katanas, combat knives, and Chinese melee sabers were also visible.

Katana Man couldn't resist and entered the area, where he saw several katanas and some sabers, including a black saber with Chinese engravings. Both the blade and the edge of the sword were black, along with some cords emerging from the handle, which seemed to be made of wood.

Taking the unusual saber, he decided to examine it closely. When he touched the blade, he didn't feel anything, but when he made a cut through the air, the ceiling of the storage area dented slightly, leaving Katana Man speechless.

Author's Note: Since I don't know the function of this saber, and it doesn't appear in the wiki or the manga, I decided to create my own.

Sawatari, who witnessed this, sighed and then looked at Katana Man before speaking.

"Let's go; we have to kill that guy, remember that," she said in an anxious tone, trying to suppress it, as in her heart, she only held onto the idea that they could escape. She had faith but not certainty, which wasn't something she would admit.

Exiting the storage area, Katana Man noticed that their guide was standing next to Sawatari, who was looking at him somewhat anxiously.

Once Katana Man was at her side, Sawatari offered one of her nails to the snake demon, which, upon accepting her offering, swallowed the entire weapons container, leaving nothing behind.

The guide offered a bandage to Sawatari, but she declined as she had her own.

Leaving the now abandoned storage area, Sawatari and Katana Man got into the car and allowed themselves to be taken to the location where Toji was being led.

Toji's guide had heard rumors about the man in his car. Many said he was a merciless person, while others claimed he abused women and minors, along with a host of other rumors he wasn't sure whether to believe. In recent years, he had become known for his abilities and the stories about him. But as he halted his thoughts, the driving guide decided to glance at the mirror that allowed him to see the back seats. He was met with a surprising scene. Around Toji's body, there was a sort of worm clinging firmly to his torso. Toji's hair covered his face, preventing the guide from seeing any facial expressions. Toji's body sat in a relaxed posture.

The driver found this situation odd, and when he decided to look again, he was surprised to see one of Toji's head hairs moving from his face. This hair covered his right eye, and the driver witnessed an image that would haunt his worst nightmares. Toji's right eye stared at him with intense murderous intent and an astonishing hardness, something that left the driver dumbfounded and sent shivers down his spine.

Nervously, the driver made a sharp turn, which fortunately or by destiny didn't lead to further consequences.

Toji stretched in his seat and yawned as if everything was fine, ignoring the fact that his driver had almost caused a deadly accident.

After another 5 minutes, they stopped at the entrance of a Chinese palace that appeared Japanese but was still located in China. Upon seeing this, Toji squinted his eyes and began to contemplate. (Author's note: Take reference from the place where Toji, Gojo, and Geto fought).

"A Japanese palace? In China? What does this mean? I've never seen anything like this. Is this even legal?" Amidst these thoughts, he and his guide had climbed the stairs. However, as soon as they crossed the entrance and took two steps inside, he felt trapped in some kind of Domain or a kind of Cage. While he had never been in one, his senses exploded like never before, and he felt an abnormal amount of negative energy in this area, focused in a large circular area that extended from further inside the grand palace.

Feeling danger behind him, he immediately ducked and evaded an attack from his guide, a powerful punch that flew over his head and crashed into the ground with explosively powerful force, creating a large crater.

Not wasting time, just as his attacker's attack passed over his head,he used Inventory Cursed , he drew the Reverse Celestial Spear with blinding speed and buried it in the enemy's brain, instantly killing him. But not satisfied with this, he performed a spinning jump while placing the spear in his Cursed Inventory's mouth and launched a powerful kick that sent his opponent crashing into a large rock.

Letting out a long sigh and a wild smile, Toji felt his adrenaline rise, and he sensed that he was being surrounded in the forest.

"40, 20 on each side," Toji said with a wild smile, thanks to his highly trained senses. Although they weren't at the level of Toji from Jujutsu Kaisen, he was confident he could detect with precision within a range of 100 meters.

Meanwhile, in the depths of the palace, in a meeting room, six individuals were sitting around a round table illuminated by dim yellow light, concealing their faces. They were led by a man in a black Yukata that didn't match his refined Asian appearance. He had long black hair that reached his shoulders, slanted eyes that accentuated his traditional Chinese appearance, a smooth and delicate face marked by an X-shaped scar on his left cheek.

"He's here," said the man with the beautiful appearance. After a few seconds, his words were confirmed by hearing two loud impacts that resonated throughout the area.

The other individuals moved out of the darkness, and a long centipede coiled around the man's torso, scarlet in color, with a wide mouth that contained multiple mouths within it, and teeth shaped like saws.

"Have you placed them on the others already?" the man asked while gently stroking his pet's head.

The long centipede simply nodded, and its master smiled twistedly.

"I hope you've done it because they will be our final trump card," said the man with an even more twisted smile before rising from his position and disappearing into the darkness, like the others.
