Dumb System

With a limited amount of mana and not strength, I don't have any advantage.

An idea just popped up in my head!

I pulled out a sapling and cut it in half.

"Nice job, you got some energy. Plants are often affiliated with life, so if you kill one, it will give you some mana."

Now, how do I kill this bear?

I looked at my surroundings.

The only notable things are the deer corpse and the giant bear.

...that's it!

I used part of my soul to streamline my mana to the deer corpse.

I used its horn and flung it at the bear.

The bear turned its head and saw the incoming antler.

The bear moved its massive body up and slammed to the ground.

The wind picked up and changed the trajectory of the antler.

It... missed?

"Use telekinesis. It's a combination of wind and space magic. Concentrate."

I used the bone technique to launch a second antler at the giant bear.

I then focused on the fallen antler.

I used the bone technique again and launched the first antler at the bear.

I proceeded to use telekinesis and accelerate the antler towards the bear.

The bear swiped sideways at the second antler and shattered it.

The second antler's fragments were like shrapnel without the heat.

A few pieces hit my arm and broke it.

Nice, I have one arm left.

Absolutely amazing.

CRACK

I looked up towards the bear.

It's head was pierced by the first antler and it was dead.

Time to take its soul.

My foggy soul slowly blew out towards it.

Have I described how weird this is?

I can see the real world but I also see a different world.

Just me and the bear's soul.

I slowly approached the bear's soul and then....

"Don't."

What?

"It wasn't worth it. It has a small soul."

A soul is a soul, I'll still eat it.

"Enslave it."

I paused.

That's a good idea.

So, how do I start enslaving it?

"Beat it up."

....

How about I just be nice to it?

"..."

"That can work."

So where do I start?

"Steal its negative emotions and condense it."

-6 Hours Later In A Cave-

So, the bear is happy and sort of calm. What do I do now?

"Please it by taking the antler out of its body."

Did I mention that I ran to a cave carrying a 600 pound bear?

"Who are you talking to?"

I don't know. I just narrate sometimes.

As I pulled out the antler, I could hear the happy bear soul.

"Checking for living space compatibility"

"Special analysis complete"

"Host compatible"

What?

"You'll know later."

Taming the bear was hard.

I spent a whole day making it befriend me and then I had to inject mana into it.

And THEN, I had to put its soul into its previous body.

Good, it better be a special pet.

Hey system.

"Zombie bear."

No no, I mean what type of pet is it.

I've been riding this bear for about 2 hours.

It's a smooth ride.

The bear and I are connected through the soul, therefore we don't need to talk to communicate.

The bear is stupid though.

It only knows simple things like, "Hungry. Angry. Sad." And a few other things.

So, the bear felt the need to look up when I did because I'm the more dominant soul.

He also felt my arm being crushed.

Ugh, I hate this.

I got in a fighting stance as I regenerated my broken arm.

Did I mention that I can regenerate?

The system isn't all knowing but it knows a lot.

So, it taught me how to regenerate.

The monkey slowly approached us.

We were only a few feet apart so we could see it's size clearly.

It's not so accurate to call it a monkey.

It's more like an overgrown gorilla.
