Blue Beatle and Booster Gold

Booster Gold raised a hand to his ear and lightly tapped it.

"Blue Beatle where you at? We need to get back to HQ now."

On the other end, Blue Beatle replied saying "I'll be there in a bit. Martian manhunter told me to gather information from the police on what happened."

"Did you find any causalities?" Asked Booster gold in a serious voice.

"None the police notified me that there are only some lightly injured people. All thanks to Lamar giving time for people to leave the area."

Hearing what Blue Beatle said.

Booster Gold turned towards Lamar patting him on the back and said "You did good job kid for your first fight. You'd make a good hero. Strangely, I never heard of you Before."

Most of the league members were told that this kid appeared out of nowhere while Superman was fighting Metallo in Metropolis.

Booster was bewildered because he comes from the future and knows most of the Heros from this century And Lamar wasn't one of them.

"Eh not my problem." Thought Booster Gold and he left it alone.

Blue Beatle arrived shortly after.

"Alright, it's time to head out. Lamar can you fly?" asked Booster Gold

"I haven't tried," Lamar replied interest peaked.

He jumped into the air trying to hold himself up and Immediately got the hang of it no effort was needed.

"I guess I can?"Lamar spoke up.

"You learn fast. it took me a while to get the hang of it." Blue Beatle spoke up Amazed at how fast he got the hang of it.

"Oh, I forgot! Lamar meet Blue Beatle and Blue Beatle meet Lamar." Booster Gold spoke up introducing the two young men.

"Its kinda too late for that" Blue Beetle replied to Booster Gold in an annoyed tone.

"Man you know i don't have the best memeroy." Booster Gold quickly came up with an excuse but Blue Beatle wasn't buying it.

"Ah forget it." was the only thing he said before Shooting into the sky.

Booster Gold told Lamar to follow and they flew north of the Happy Harbour passing by Many Buildings until they left the city.

"Where are we going?" Lamar asked.

Blue Beatle looked at Lamar and Said "Don't worry we are heading to the justice League's Watchtower. They want you there for questioning."

Flying in the front. Blue Beatle pulled out a strange device it looked like some sort of controller before he pointed it in front of him and tapped a button on it.

The controller's antenna glowed and a very large portal appeared in front of him. Blue Beatle flew straight into it.

Booster gold urged Lamar to follow and they also went through the portal before it closed behind them.

On the other side of the portal, they arrived inside a gigantic open room. The walls were metallic grey in color.

Large windows lined the walls showing the view from outer space. Lamar could see a good view of the earth from here.

Some robots were traveling around. Some cleaning and doing miscellaneous tasks.

Light grey tables lined up with benches near them filled most of the room.

In the back, Lamar could see a counter akin to a school's kitchen this place resembled a cafeteria.

"What is this room for?" Lamar asked blue Beatle

Blue Beatle turned to him and replied while scratching his head "This is the Watchtower's cafeteria. League members can eat meals here. I thought you were hungry so I teleported us here."

"Thanks," Lamar replied. He was kinda hungry.

"Good job man!" Booster gold spoke up before

He picked a spot and rested his feet on the table.

Both Blue Beatle and Lamar chose a spot near Booster Gold.

A small robot appeared shortly after and asked what they wanted to eat.

Booster Gold Only Said one thing.

"Pizza."

The robot Left and returned quickly with Pizza in its arms setting it down on the table before it left.

"Chill Bruh the foods not going anywhere," said Lamar after watching Booster Gold swallow Five slices at once.

The man looked at Lamar as if he was Joking and replied "Kid you've already eaten twenty slices I can't allow myself to be shown up like this. I have a reputation to uphold."

"You are not gonna beat me in a Food contest. You're only human," Lamar announced.

"Wait, you're not Human. What are you then ?"Blue Beatle spoke up from the side.

"I don't know yet all I know is that I can control gravity and have super strength, speed, etc."

Blue Beatle nodded his head in understanding.

"Are you too an alien?" Lamar asked Blue Beatle.

"Haha no, he is human. He has something called "The Scarab" it gives him his powers it's pretty cool. Not as impressive as my arsenal but yeah." Booster Gold answered.

"Why would you tell him how my powers work?" Blue Beatle groaned out.

"Oh, my bad." Booster Gold replied.

After eating Blue Beatle gave Lamar a new white suit to put on.

Lamar thanked him and went to a nearby restroom to change.

Looking in the mirror Lamar's previous suit was badly damaged with cuts and marks all over it.

He was just going with the motions earlier but now he had time to think and he realized how crazy a day it was.

"At least I'm out of the Secret Sanctuary." He mumbled to himself.

He looked in the mirror one last time and walked out of the restroom.

When he returned he saw Booster Gold talking to a

Very tall man. The man had no hair and his skin was a dark green color. He also had glowing red eyes.

A long blue cape rested behind him and a large red x was on his chest.

Walking towards them he heard Booster Gold murmur

"Martian Manhunter."

'So this is the one and only Martian Manhunter huh.'
