Blue and Gold

Lamar lowered his arms and noticed that just by willing it he could keep the blob stuck to the floor.

He was Raising the gravity around the blob's body to absurdly high levels making the blob unable to move.

Not taking his eyes off the blob, Lamar spoke up

"Aye, y'all should leave the building I got this under control."

People started rushing past him and out of the exit many people gave him thankful looks.

Someone random guy even said, "Thanks, kid. you one of 'em hero's?"

Watching the people leave with their loved ones with hope in their eyes made Lamar feel kinda warm inside.

Once everyone left. Lamar couldn't hold on any longer and his powers gave out. Giving the blob some time to act. The blob started morphing splitting into two identical green balls.

The blobs rolled around breaking some of the last pillars causing the Bank to collapse in on itself.

Lamar hurriedly raised his arms lifting the building falling on him.

His legs weren't prepared for the immense weight and he buckled on one knee.

One of the blobs rushed him while he was occupied flinging him through the building.

Dodoodooom!!

Lamar didn't even know when he got hit. He landed in the electrical control room. Breaking most of the equipment many sparks of electricity started flying around.

Lamar was unharmed though.

Standing up he watched as one of the blobs started rolling at him full speed.

He was prepared to attack but thought.

"Wait where is the other one?"

Time seemed to slow down as the wall behind him broke revealing the second blob rushing at him.

Lamar reacted almost instantly stretching both hands out to block both blob's collisions at once.

Booooooom!

Booooooom!

An ear-deafening sound rang out as Lamar's hands made contact with the blobs.

What little remained of the building was instantly destroyed by the power of the impacts.

'These things just don't stop.' Lamar was starting to get a little irritated.

Using more strength Lamar dug his hands into the blob's bodies and activated his powers.

A purplish-black glow illuminated the blob's bodies before they started compressing in on themselves. Both blobs were struggling but Lamar's expression hardened. He opened his hands slowly turning them into fists crushing the blobs even more. The blobs completely stopped moving and fell to the ground after multiple compressions.

Looking around Lamar noticed the bank was gone. Only destruction was around him. Destroyed cars and debris littered the ground. Craters demolished the streets.

It's a mess.

The Sun's rays showed down on the destroyed city block. Making the scenery glow a light yellow.

The light Kissed Lamar's skin.

Looking up He felt as if the sun was energizing his body and he felt wonderful.

He stood there for a while.

Lamar heard the sound of something flying to his position. Looking towards the sound he saw two people flying towards him.

The two people quickly flew towards Lamar's area. Hovering above him and they looked around for a second before one of them approached Lamar.

The man was quite tall, he had on a dark blue and yellow outfit with a star symbol in the middle of his chest. The man had yellow goggles showing his blue eyes. His blond hair was swept to the side.

"Young man I'm running late but have you seen a bad guy here by any chance.?" The man asked with a cocky smile on his face.

"Yea I did it's over there," said Lamar Pointing towards the green glob knocked out on the ground.

"Ah jeez did you kill them?" The man replied shocked at the condition of the blobs.

"Booster Gold, he is the guy Martian Manhunter briefed us about on our way here."

"Haha, Must have slipped my mind. Are you Lamar?" BoosterGold chuckled and asked Lamar who he was.

"Yep," Lamar replied casually.

Lamar's eyes focused on the guy next to Booster Gold. The dude had on blue and black skin right outfight showing off his lean physique. He was around the same height as Lamar about 5'8. On the sides of his blue suit were six bug-like appendages three on each side to be exact he had. On his back were two more of the appendages facing upwards.

His mask was black and only showed his glowing yellow eyes.

Booster gold turned towards the guy and said with a Grin "Blue Beatle go survey the surrounding area. No harm in double-checking for casualties. I'm like the best mentor."

"Yeah, whatever," replied Blue Beatle before thin blue wings shot out from his back allowing him to fly into the sky.

After Blue beetle left Booster Gold walked towards the Knocked out blobs on the ground and pulled out a phone.

Making a peace sign with one of his hands he snapped a few pictures with the blobs.

"Nice!" Muttered Booster Gold as he was tapping on his phone screen.

"Whatcha doing?" Asked Lamar with some slight confusion in his voice.

"I'm a popular hero and all. I gotta show the fans some love," replied Booster Gold while fixing his hair.

"Oh ok," Lamar said casually. He didn't understand what the guy was talking about.

Booster Gold even took some pictures with Lamar Hashtagging the pictures, "#New superhero kid in town."

"You Like them?" Booster Gold asked Lamar in a confident tone.

"Yea there cool?" Replied Lamar not interested.

Eventually, Booster Gold put his phone away and aimed one of his hands at the blobs on the ground. His fist became enveloped in a bright golden glow soon the blobs were enveloped also in a bright golden aura. The light wrapped around them like a force field holding them in the air securely.

"Dang, what's that? What's your power?." Finally finding something interesting Lamar asked a question.

"Haha, my power? Kid, I'm a man of many talents." Booster Gold laughed out loud for a second before replying.
