The appearance of the monster(corrected)

Arriving in Babel, Mark noticed that the guild members were more lively than usual and many adventurers were injured. Approaching an employee who seemed to be reading a paper, he wanted to understand the situation.

"Excuse me, did something happen?"

"Hmm HA! You are Mr. Mark of the Loki Familia. Actually, we have been reported by the adventurers that the upper floors are more active than usual, the guild has sent some level 2 to investigate, now we are waiting. " - The clerk said.

"Don't tell me it's not possible to go down." - Mark said irritably.

"N-No! You can go, just be more careful than usual. If you find anything weird, notify the guild and we'll reward you." -Said the employee quickly, he did not want to antagonize the member of one of the strongest Familia.

Seeing that there were no problems, he headed for the stairs leading to the dungeon, and as he walked he could see more and more wounded adventurers.

'Guide, is it normal for such a thing to happen?' - He asked as he went down the stairs.

'It does not make sense, with the number of adventurers Orario has, it shouldn't happen, especially on the upper floors.' -Mark thought carefully.

The descent continued smoothly until the 6th floor, where monsters were starting to appear more often than usual. But the real problem started on the 8th floor.

"They never end today!" - Mark yelled in exasperation, as he threw an 'electric explosion' at a group of seven monsters, killing them immediately.

After spending more time than usual, having to kill all the monsters that threw themselves at him, he finally made it to the stairs of the 10th floor, where he met a familiar duo.

"Lili I don't think we should continue, getting here has already been problematic." - Bell said thoughtfully.

"…You're not entirely wrong, but we've already come this far, we might as well take a look for the future at least. Plus that magic you showed me was fantastic, as soon as you called its name the flames came out of your hand. " -Said Lili, while imitating Belle's pose when casting spells.

'It seems he hasn't listened to my advice.' - Mark thought, shaking his head.

'But it's strange how that girl's feelings have changed. In the past, she had only hatred and anger, but now there is also a lot of sadness. '- Leaving aside his various thoughts, he approached them, as they were in front of the stairs leading to the 10th floor.

"What do you want to do? go down or block the passage" -Mark asked them.

"AH! M-Mark, what a surprise to see you here." -Bell said stammering, unable to keep eye contact.

"What, embarrassed about yesterday? You know, I've never seen a person react that way. " -Mark joked.

"P-please forget everything." -Bell begged completely red.

"Hello to you too miss supporter." -Mark said smiling, ignoring Bell's beggings.

"... Hello Mr. Mark." - Lili said smiling.

'Oh, even if she is agitated she can maintain a normal smile' - Mark thought as he analyzed her.

"Anyway, I've already spent too much time getting here, I'll see you" -Said Mark as he passed them to head downstairs.

"Isn't that dangerous, Mark? The monsters are acting weird. " -Bell asked him, who had recovered slightly.

"You're right about that, but since I got here, I'll take a look around. The guild is willing to pay you for any information they get. " - Mark simply said as he went downstairs.

"Lili let's go too, we can't leave him alone" -Bell said while following Mark.

"Mr. Bell! Haaa he is already gone..."-After a moment of hesitation, Lili decided to follow him too.

'What am I doing?' - I thought, as I was walking near Babel.

Yesterday I finally managed to level up, but I couldn't be completely happy. I kept thinking about that boy, no, Bell Cranel.

Mark told me that Bell ran away not because he was scared, but simply because he didn't know how to interact with me.

'Come to think of it, any person would feel weird waking up on a stranger's lap.'

"It's all Riveria's fault for giving me that advice." -I thought irritably, remembering her laugh when I told her.

"Tione I can walk! So put me down! " -Hearing screams I turned around, only to see Tiona, Tione, and Lefiya approaching at great speed, but I was confused about one thing.

"Oh, look there's Aiz!" - Screamed Tiona changing direction.

A few minutes after.

"'sniff' 'sniff' Aiz the amazons are scary, 'sniff' they transported me like a sack from the 'sniff' base." -Lefiya said crying.

"Now everything is fine." -I told her stroking her head. As a child when I cried my mother always did this to cheer me up and it seemed to be effective for Lefiya too, although now she had a strange smile.

"Why were you in such a hurry?" - I asked her.

"Ehehe Aiz, you will never believe what Loki told us today." -Said Tiona mysteriously.

"Mark has the right stats to level up" -She whispered in my ear.

It took me a year to level up because I killed an astronomical number of monsters in a short time and this was only possible because my skills allowed it, so the fact that Mark could do it so quickly means that he knew some secrets that made it possible to level up faster.

"So Aiz, are you interested?" - Tione asked me.

Nodding at her words, we headed to the entrance to the dungeon.

When we got there, however, we realized that the situation was strange, the guild members looked worried and we could see many wounded adventurers.

"Luckily you are here Loki Familia!" -Said an employee arriving quickly.

"Did something happen?" - Tiona asked confusedly.

"The monsters of the upper floors are more agitated and numerous, we had sent some level 2 adventurers to do research, but it's been too long and there is no news from them. Even your new companion hasn't returned yet. " -Said the employee worried.

Looking at each other we nodded and without hesitation, we started to go down between the floors, and as he said the situation was strange. The rate with which we met the monsters was not normal, moreover, despite being weak monsters, they did not seem to be afraid of our presence. Our descent speed was also slowed by the fact that there were some adventurers in trouble, whom we decided to save.

"What the heck have these monsters, they look crazier than usual!" -Tiona shouted as she exterminated a group of goblins on the 9th floor.

"Girls come and see the stairs to the 10th floor." -Said Lefiya worried.

As we got closer, we could see how a pile of debris blocked the way to the floor below.

"Something strange is going on down there." -Said Tione with a frown.

"Let me do it." -I told her as I drew my sword and concentrated. I tried to imagine using the same wind force I used against the Boss.

"Tempest!" -Releasing my magic, a tornado came out of my sword creating a path through the rubble.

'So this is the strength of a level 6!' - I thought amazed.

"Aiz you were fantastic! Now that you've cleared the road, let's go. " -Said Tiona, as she took command.

As we descended to the 10th level, the tremors were starting to be felt more and more and when we reached the 10th floor, we could not believe our sight. The tenth floor was on fire.

"'Cough' Help 'cough' cough '." -Hearing a voice, we turned to see an adventurer with burn injuries leaning against the wall, near the entrance to the stairs.

"What's going on here?" -Lefiya asked him, as she helped him

" 'cough' the guild told us to investigate. When we got to the 12th floor, we met a strange-looking infant dragon with an exorbitant number of 'cough' 'cough' monsters. " -The man said while coughing up blood.

"I'm just a supporter, 'cough' when that thing killed everyone, I ran away, but it followed me and the other adventurers to the 10th floor! 'Cough' cough '. " -He said angrily.

'ROOOAR!'

"Nonononono! It's still there." -Cried the man as he curled up in fear.

"What do you think Aiz." -Tione asked me seriously.

"From the strength of the roar I can tell that it is stronger than a minotaur, but I don't think we would have a problem handling it." - I replied.

"You have by chance seen a black-haired boy in black armor." -Lefiya asked him.

"I-I don't know, there were many adventurers." - Said the man still terrified.

"Let's not waste time." -Understanding the gravity of the situation, we began to move towards the direction of the sounds.

Arriving on the tenth floor, Mark carefully checked the surroundings for any monsters, but the situation seemed calm.

"They are probably more interned." -Mark guessed.

"The floor is indeed covered in fog." - Bell said surprised.

"The mist on the 12th the fog is even thicker." -Lili told him from behind.

Leaving the duo, he continued walking up the 10th floor, while Bell and Lili followed him. The reason he wasn't worried about them, was that Bell didn't even seem to understand the concept of evil, while Lili who was the most suspicious, had the strength of a level 1 beginner.

After walking for several minutes, he could not detect any monsters even though he had almost reached the stairs leading to the 11th floor, so he decided to stop.

"Did something happen Mark?" - Bell asked.

"That's the problem, nothing has happened since we got here. At the very least I was expecting groups of orcs who would give us no peace. " -Said Mark, while crouching with his ear to the ground and closing his eyes.

"Lili do you know what he's doing?" Bell asked softly.

"I think he's trying to hear some vibration or sound." - Lili guessed.

Meanwhile, Mark, who was using his hearing to the maximum, could feel various tremors that became stronger and stronger, which made him grimace.

'I don't like the situation.' -With that thought in his head, he got up and was ready to go to the upper floor, when he heard screams coming from the stairs leading to the 11th floor.

"Run away that thing is catching up with us!"

"What the heck is such a monster doing on the 11th floor!"

"I've never seen so many monsters!"

Seeing the adventurers fleeing in panic from the 11th-floor entrance, Mark knew it was time to leave and hurry.

Hearing the mighty roar, Mark's ears began to buzz, but having grown accustomed to the backlash of 'flashbang' when he was not yet able to create magical circles, the effects quickly disappeared, which could not be said of Bell and Lili.

'What the heck was that?'

Turning around Mark could not see anything from the entrance, apart from the adventurers fleeing, when suddenly a mighty flame came out of the entrance, burning some of the adventurers.

After the flame disappeared, the entrance leading to the lower floor was enlarged allowing the monster that had thrown them to flounder more easily.

'Guide what the heck is that ?!' - Mark thought looking at the shocked monster.

[I need time to analyze the monster.]

Over 4 meters tall with a black horn protruding from its forehead, reptilian eyes, and a 5-meter long body fully armored with vermilion scales and an extremely long tail with a sharp tip. To Mark, the monster looked like the fusion of a prehistoric dinosaur with a dragon.

The problem was not only the dragon but also the various monsters that were now flooding the 10th floor.

Seeing what kind of monster it was, Mark didn't hesitate for a moment and started running followed by Lili and Bell who had recovered from the roar but couldn't believe their eyes because of what was happening.

Seeing the various humans who were running away, the monster did not bother to attack them immediately, instead, it began to charge the flames from the depths and when they were ready, it shot them not towards the adventurers, but towards the entrance that led to the upper floor. The monster intended to trap them and then finish them off.
