In the humble town of Bridlington on the east-coast of England, where we lay our first scene - secrets and legacies are uncovered.
It’s 2017. After years of an ordinary life, raised by her grandparents on stories of what her parents were, 16-year old Amilly Wood is thrust into the new world of the Secret Society with the discovery of her new magic. She begins her lessons with her three, non-magical friends by her side: Vincent Whittaker, Elena Wilfried and George Goedhalsgan. Things start off normal - normal as magic can go - but our villain attacks, and Vincent is the one to suffer.
On the other side of this tale, where everyone fears his return, stands Lennox and his team of equally menacing crooks with their own motivations: Oliveira Roguela, Poppy Lam, Lachlan Locum and Elliott Jane.
Years of hiding, they return to seek war, revealing a past that forces Amilly into the centre of it. She learns about the Winter Realm, a world that understands betrayal a little too well. With the circumstances surrounding Vincent’s fate, she trains to seek for Hildegarde, the mysterious white snake who has what she needs. But actions have consequences, and secrets get you killed, leading to war that makes her realize the legacy her “heroic” parents left for her to complete.
