Darby x Reader

For a year Sam had been gone in lucifers cage with lucifer. Now he was back, and no one knows why. Of course I was glad that my dad was back, but he seemed a little off, and I have been following him for a while now, trying to tell what was wrong with him, so far it wasnt much.

I was currently with Sam and Dean while they were doing a Vampire hunt, and Dean and Sam burst through the old motel door. Sam sat down at a table and sighed, while Dean gripped his head and yelled out, thats when you saw his teeth, he was becoming a Vampire.

You turned off all the lights and closed the blinds and made sure everything was quiet. Dean pounded on the wall and yelled for the people in the other room to be quiet. He then turned to me, then Sam.

"Your calm."

"What?"

"Why are you so calm, Sam?"

"What do you mean-"

"I can hear both of your guy's heartbeats, and yours is slow and steady, Darbys is fast and rapid!"

"Well im calm because im trying not to panic!"

Both you and Dean squinted at Sam, and you realized ever since Sam got back, he had been careless. He didnt seem to care for Dean as nearly as much as normal, and he hadnt been very fatherly to you either, he didnt even question you when you said you were going on this hunt. Now that you think of it. You never saw Sam eat or sleep, almost like he was empty.

"Dad, can we talk outside, please?"

"Yeah, fine."

You stepped outside and faces Sam, well more like his chest. You scanned over Sam and he just sighed and hunched.

"What do you need Darby?"

"Your different."

"What? What do you mean im different?"

"Your careless, dont eat, and dont sleep."

"Of course I eat and sleep! I need to survive, and of course I care for Dean and you! Why would I not?"

"Because your soul is gone."

Sam looked at you shocked, but you kept a strait and serious face. You were going to crack Sam, and no matter what, you were going to make sure he would get his soul back.

"What- I... how could you say that Darby! Of course I have my soul!"

"Sorry about this."

"What-"

You smacked Sam across the head with a vase, you dragged him back into the room with Dean and called Samuel, your great grandpa, and told him to bring a vampire cure. You then tied Sam to a chair and went to check on Dean, who was huddled in a bathroom, covering his ears.

"Dean-"

"Be quiet!"

"Dean, I need you to call Cas."

"Why!?"

"So he can check if Sam has his soul."

Dean looked at you and stood up and headed out to the main room, where Sam was tied to a chair, knocked out. Dean looked at me, and I flinched athow he looked. His eyes were dialated and bloodshot, and he had a stream of blood coming from his mouth flowing down his chin.

"Are you sure Darby?"

"Of course im sure, but we need Cas to check."

"Alright, Cas, feathery ass, down here now."

"Hello Dean, Hello Darby, what do you need?"

"We need you to check if Sam has a soul or not."

"Why?"

"We think he came back from hell without it."

"Well, we have to wait until he is awake, thays when his soul is most active."

"No problem."

I walked to the small kitchen in the motel and filled a cup full of ice water. I walked back to Sam and splashed it on him, he didnt wake up. I sighed, and rolled up your right sleeve. I smirked and slapped Sam as hard as I could, and he jerked awake.

Sam looked around the room, and he rolled his eyes when he realized the situation. I stuffed a rag into his mouth and Cas rolled up his sleeve and walked up to Sam, then he stuck his hand into Sams stomach and there was a blinding light. When Cas was done, he looked at Dean and I.

"I found nothing."

"Hes souless?"

"Correct."

I sighed and we untied Sam, then we all sat down and waited for Samuel to come with Deans cure. I couldnt stop thinking about how my dad was souless, we needed a way to get his soul back, I needed a way to get his soul back.
