☆ Chapter 5, miles veritatis, Zoe. ☆

The two begans their trek up the mountainside, their faith unshaken in Aster's instinct.

"I'm sure We'll find something up here!" Aster cheered, as Lily nodded.

"As am I."

On the other side of the mountains north of the village, was a lush forest, vibrant with life and plants.

"I'm sure the forest will provide some information, the knights there are quite helpful, so I've heard." Lily added.

In the forest, there was a group of knights, stationed there by the kingdom of Erza. One of them was a powerful knight, called Sam, he was a male elf.

After a while of trekking, and alot of fighting minor rock formations gone mad, they reached the entrance of the forest.

The entrance was dark and lined out by two trees, their leaves vibrant, green and large.

They looked around, soon spotting a small building, with standard red bricks, and a black door with stainless glass as windows.

A man came out, and widened his eyes.

"W-who are you?!" The fully armoured man yelled out, holding his spear up.

"Woah! We're not gonna harm ya, mate." Aster explained, trying to calm the man down.

"Pray calm, good Knight, I shall deal with this." A female, almost authoritive but soft voice suddenly sounded, making Aster and Lily turn.

A knight, it seemed she was high in status, from the way the lower Knight shivered in his boots at the sight of him.

The girl wore a white top, with black ties that held it in the middle, symmetrical. Her skirt was loose abd ended just at the top of her legs, where white leggings with distinct line patterns went down the middle, golden heels adorned her feet, dark patterns lay at the top of her legs, near where her skirt ended.

A grey cape was on her back, worn loosely on her shoulders, yet it never came off, at the end was a flowery pattern at the end of the hoodie arm, on the top of her hoodie, were two black buttons, fashion choice.

Gold stars were just over the two black buttons.

"Now, who may you be?"
