Invaders of Earth

"This is Scout number 006319, reporting that we can safely land on Planet-492, a.k.a Earth, without any problems." The scout leader reported.

"Is something wrong, leader?" One of the members asked him.

"It's weird, I cannot contact HQ, and we're out of juice." He responded.

"Leader, it seems this planet has not developed any satellite for inter-space communication." The other informed him.

"So that's it, huh?" He said with a sad tone in his voice. "I promised my wife I'll be back as soon as we finished scouting this planet."

"Sir, we got important information for you! Our radar is still working, and we have three enemies. What should we do?" Asked the other member, who was staring at their radars.

"Just stand by and be prepared for any situations thrown at us." He ordered them.

As soon as they finished talking, a car stopped in front of them. They did not know anything about it and were astonished looking at it. Their admiration of the vehicle was controlled by people coming out of the car.

"Who the fuck are you?!" The other guy asked them.

"Hey, don't point your gun at them. They look like bad news."

As for them, they did not understand a single word these two people just said. Fortunately, they could review some essential terms before they came here through the satellite they used to peek into their letters.

"Hello! OMG, have you seen the latest issue?" Unfortunately, they had read the wrong passage and thought this was the standard way to greet others.

"Huh? What the fuck you're on, crackhead?" The other aggressive guy asked them and pointed his gun at him.

In response to this threat, all crew members pointed their weapons toward him. Upon seeing this, the other guy stood between them and put his palms on his side, stopping both parties.

"STOP!"

As the leader saw it, he copied the other guy and told his people to stop.

"Why? He's pointing his weapons at you, leader?" A crew member asked about his decision.

"We're here to scout, not to attack. That's just a normal reaction for someone seeing another who is not of their kind or speaks a different language." As soon as he said that to his members, they calmed down and stopped pointing guns at the aggressive guy.

"What the fuck?!"

Hours passed, and Akito dropped by my room to check on me.

"Are you okay, for sure?" he asked.

"Yes, just a bit of shock, that's it. How about you? What the hell are those aliens doing now? Have you asked them why they come here?" I begin dropping more questions to him.

"Oh, they are watching some Nursery Rhymes right now. They just finished reading some picture books and decided they wanna learn more about our language." He answered me. "What about the princess? Where is she?"

My legs began to tense as soon as he asked about her whereabouts. As soon as he realized this, he flipped the blanket covering my body and saw the princess underneath it.

"What the fuck?!" Akito yelled as he stormed out of my room.

"We should exterminate the monster as soon as possible!" one of the Cabinet members said.

"But to do that, we need to gain data about the monster itself. Currently, no information about the creature has surfaced, only the videos taken by the people on their social media and them calling it a Kaiju." The head of the Biological Research Team responded.

"Just send one of our Special Forces to exterminate this 'kaiju' thing, eh?" The Minister of Defense suggested.

The room is full of Cabinet members and researchers as they debate what to do with the creature that surfaced on the Earth 12 hours ago. In the middle of it all is the Prime Minister, thinking of ways to deal with this monstrosity that appeared in Nepal, knowing that it will not be long until the monster reaches Japan.

"But you see, we cannot move our JSDF unless the monster has reached our borders." The Secretary of JSDF replied.

As soon as the Secretary of JSDF responded, the majority of the people inside the meeting nodded in agreement. Just a second later, the room's closed doors flung open as a member of the JSDF entered the room, running out of breath. He went directly to the Prime Minister and whispered to him.

"Is that true?!" the Prime Minister responded with shock as he heard the news.

The officer nods, declaring that what he had told the Prime Minister is true.

"A bad news has arrived. One of these 'portals' where the monster from Nepal appeared has been spotted above the seas of Tokyo Bay 5 minutes ago." the Prime Minister delivered the news to everyone in the meeting.

As soon as everyone heard the news, they were all shocked, not knowing what to do next. The room was full of panic, only to be silenced by a large earthquake that caused the files they held to move all over the place as if the ground was shaking. The quake lasted for three minutes, and as they looked over the window that had a full view of the Tokyo Bay area, they saw another monster in Nepal. The beast seemed different, but they knew it was one of "them".

"K-K-Kaiju!"

"Japan has been struck by a Magnitude 9 Earthquake, and it is all due to the sudden appearance of a monster dubbed by the netizens as 'kaiju', referencing the very same monster that popularized by Japan itself, Godzilla." The reporter announced.

"And, cut! A nice report out there, Maddie!" the director of Great Mornings in America complimented the reporter.

The spread of word about monsters appearing out of the blue in two countries shocked the entire world. The morning in America today was not greeted by good news but the exact opposite. Without knowing about the pattern of the appearances of the monsters, the people in every country are in a panic. The reporter Maddie, also known as Madison Green, puts on her earbuds and gets a call from the President of the United States, George Green, her father.

"I saw the news today. I need you to go to the White House as soon as possible." her father ordered her.

"Yes, I'm on my way now," she replied.

The horror in the eyes of the residents of Tokyo is obvious, and they cannot do anything but stand there and watch the monster right in front of them. The beast lets out its deafening roar that sends a chill on the back of the spine of anyone who hears it. The people ran desperately out of instinct that they were in big trouble. It did not matter who was in the way; everyone was for themselves.

Then, a blinding light enveloped the sky. The ground started shaking again and as soon as the light was out, what appeared to them was a giant humanoid creature covered in armour-like skin; unlike the beasts that occurred before it, this one started by charging against the creature in front of him. The people around them stood right where they were standing, watching everything unfold in front of their eyes.

"So, you mean that the creature that appeared in a portal wasn't all you doing?" Akito asked the goofy rangers sitting on the couch in front of us.

"No, we did not send out any creatures on your planet." The leader of the group answered.

Akito was right. These people, or should I say aliens, are speedy learners. Just by 3 hours, they were able to speak our language. Their tech must be extraordinary, and their civilization might be as well.

"Well then, let's check the news and let you see it for yourself if you have seen the damn creature," I ordered them.

I opened the television, and as soon as I tuned in to the news channel, the leader was in a pure state of shock.

"Proto? H-how is he here?" he uttered.

"Do you know this fella right here?" I asked him further.

"Yes, Proto is the protector of our galaxy, but we did not bring him with us or anything, so why is he here?"

Everything we all got from them was rendered useless as soon as he said that. Just what the hell are these monsters? Everything just got complicated.
