88 Aftermath

We turned our attention towards Akino who had a conflicted face. She signed and said.

"I-I don't know, this is too much for us."

She stood up and followed her daughters to the kitchen, Reika and I didn't stop them as we understood that they needed time to process what they just heard.

Reika and I sat down on the sofa as she began asking me about my condition, to which I replied that I was alright.

10 minutes later, they all came back.

We looked at them as Akino spoke, "First thank you for teaching my daughter on how to defend herself from those hollows things even though it's technically your fault"

"Second is it possible that you could show us this barrier that you made?"

I nodded my head as I gestured over to the glass door, they all looked and I made the barrier fluctuate, showing the light green barrier.

The four women went out of the house to see a large green dome surrounding their home."

"Wow...." Aiko said as she hesitantly poked her finger on the green wall, when she found that it was safe, she placed her hand on it.

The wall felt soft around her hand but it was also sturdy.

"I see so it really is true huh?" Akino said to both Reika and I who also went out.

"Mhm."

"Is it possible for you to leave us? I want to have a have a talk with my daughter." She asked.

I looked at Reika and she nodded her head towards me. Whispering a good luck to her, I used astral soar to head towards Starrk and Lilynette.

I looked at the direction where Gin and Aizen where and saw that Gin already took Rangiku on top of a building.

'Hmm, Gin isn't a bad person, well he did kill a lot of people but he did it to get revenge, so I guess I'll heal him when Ichigo takes Aizen away, besides he'll be put in prison so he can't really do anything.' I thought.

When I arrived outside of the house where Lilynette and Starrk where, I went in.

"Yo." Starrk said.

"Hey dude! What is that thing out there? I could feel its large reiatsu just from here!" Lilynette appeared from the kitchen with a cup of ice cream and asked.

"Well to be honest I don't really know." I said.

"Whad you mean you don't know!?" Lylinette said.

"I mean what I said, I don't know, I only came here to check up on you and now that I know your okay I'll be leaving." I disappeared and went back home.

"Hey! Get back here!" Lylinette said, stomping on the ground.

I sat on the sofa with Hikari and we watched the battle turn out.

When Ichigo took Aizen away, I appeared looking 'hurt'.

"Kentaro!" Rangiku called out.

"Yeah no need to scream at my ear." I said.

"Please save Gin! He only pretended to be our enemy to kill Aizen!" She took my hand and cried.

"Yeah don't worry I saw." I immediately used a kaidō on him, he was loosing too much blood so I ripped the cloth and on his arm and said to Rangiku.

"Here wrap this on his arm to stop the bleeding, my kaidō isn't good enough to heal limbs."

"Okay." Rangiku immediately started wrapping his hand arm.

--Present time--

After Aizen was sealed, I smiled. I already did everything I needed to do, I looked to my right to see both Rangiku and Gin sleeping. When Gin was in a good enough condition that he'll live, I stopped healing him and said to Rangiku that I couldn't do more but he'll be just fine.

Her body seemed to realize the word called exhaustion as she collapsed on the ground.

I checked up on her condition and healed some of her injuries before stopping and watching the fight.

A senkaimon appeared near me as outcome captains Shunsui. I pretended to be exhausted as I laid myself on the ground.

Shunsui appeared in front of me and said.

"I'm surprised that you could still had the strength to got up and not only heal Soifon and Junichiro but also come her after being hacked on the stomach." Shunsui said while looking at the pair, he narrowed his eyes when he saw Gin on the ground.

"And judging by the blood on the ground and Gin's appearance, you also healed him."

"Huuhh hhaahh, he tried to kill Aizen with his bankai but failed, I think that's enough reason to keep him from dying, if you want proof ask Rangiku." I inhaled a long breath and said.

"Hmmm it's not my call, come on, let's go, I;ll take you to captain Unohana her heal you." Shunsui said.

Just as he was about to pick me up, I said.

"No need, I already healed myself, I'm just exhausted."

"Well you can't be too sure." He still picked me up as we went to the fake karakura town and took me to captain Unohana.

Fast forwards to 5 days later, I was waiting heading towards the room where my captains was assigned.

I was on the 4th division building and today was the day that my captain was allowed to be discharged.

The past 5 days where uneventful with the only one event worth noticing was Rangiku thanking me, to which I replied with a welcome.

After Gin was healed he was imprisoned but through both my and Rangiku's testaments that he tried to kill Aizen, he's sentence was reduced by a little bit and was allowed to be visited but the person visiting him could only do it once per week.

I haven't visited him and I don't think I'll ever will in the future.

Shunsui hasn't said anything about my ability to control space but I think he's waiting until my captains asks me.

--Bonus short story, 3 days after the fight--

I was heading towards my room in our division barracks after taking a walk.

Kiyone and Sentarō took on the role of doing the paperwork and told me to rest.

When I opened the door, there was a paper on the table, the room was a normal looking one with a shoji door closet where my futon and clothes .

The table was in the middle of the room and I didn't leave paper on there so my curiosity was peeked.

I went towards it and opened it to see a bill.

"Bill for damages.... ?"
