109 Missing

"Slow down, no one's taking it from you." I said to Mystiliya who was eating my wanton.

I took a sip from my milktea and just looked at her eating.

'Is this how mom and dad felt when they watched us eating?' I thought feeling content.

I drank my milktea and left a little bit for her, when she finished drinking I gave it to her as I thought back on what I should do about her.

If people were to know that she can create gold bars out of nowhere she would definitely be kidnapped and be made into a gold maker.

Her ability to store things was just icing on the cake because I've seen some people have it.

I could try giving her to someone I trust like my sister or little brother, come to think of it wasn't she and her husband planning to have children? I could give Mystiliya to her.

I don't have the time to take care of a child so giving Mystiliya to my sister was quickly decided.

"Mister?"

"Yes?" Mystiliya's call broke me out of my thoughts, she already finished the milktea and was looking at me curiously.

"I don't know your name yet."

"Oh yeah sorry I forgot about it, my name is Felix Greer but you can just call me uncle Felix or anything."

"Okay uncle Felix." She beamed a smile as I could have sworn I saw a halo of light behind her.

I called the police station and told them what I got from Mystiliya of course except her abilities.

We resumed what we were doing and I must've got too engrossed into my work because it was only until 5:23 PM did I noticed Mystiliya was missing.

I quickly looked around the room but to no avail.

"Shit." I muttered under my breath as I got up and looked out of me office for her. I called my secretary and told him to get the bodyguards to search for her.

It was a mystery as to how she left the room without me knowing because it was already an instinct of mine to look at who the door if I hear it open.

My men searched the building but didn't even find a trace of her, I called the cop next to search for her and went back to work, distracted.

"I'm sorry sir, we've been looking for her for a week now but we still couldn't find her." The police chief said.

"You don't need to apologize, just keep looking and if by the end of the week you still couldn't find her then stop the search." I replied.

"Understood sir, have a nice day."

I put my phone down as a sigh escaped my mouth. No matter how old you are, missing a child even if it's not yours will stay in your mind like a magnet for a while.

I signed again as I started to work again.

Nothing of interest happened after that, the police never found her but still continued to search for her since she is a child albeit without more men.

My business just got more popular and when I was 54, I stopped making it bigger and kept it as to what it is. I still work but I just make decisions and not the paperwork.

I entrusted that job to an old friend of mine who I got to know 5 years ago that has a similar ability like mine. We quickly became friends and when I plan to retire I'll give my company to him.

My parents already passed away but at least they lived the two decades of their life happy. As for my sister, she's a happy grandmother now and my little brother has 3 children now.

As for me I wanted a partner but because of my status the only ones I will get is gold diggers.

So I let life run it's course and at the age of 64, I officially retired and moved to a villa in a forest.

A/N: Quick story, so I went to my relatives house in the forest and when I got out of the car I was so impressed by how quietness and peaceful it was, like my ears started to feel weird because it weren't use to just hearing birds chirping.

The only thing I hated there was the big ass blank ants.
