Evolution

Alright I'm finally here I said as I finally managed to get back to the oasis, the main reason why I came here was to evolve because as you can probably guess evolution requires a lot of energy and for this pacific evolution it's gone require all of my energy and even a bit more then everything so of course I need to refuel my energy after I'm done evolving

You can probably guess now why I'm here but if you don't you're a idiot, anyways's I looked around to make sure there weren't any sneaky animals that could ruin my evolution, as evolution will take a couple minutes to finish

After a quick check I was able to make sure there were no other animals then the salamanders who were pretty much docile as long so you don't attack them, after making sure the cohost was clear I finally pressed the evolution button

After that I was covered in a bubble of darkness and in what felt like seconds my entire body had transformed, it felt a lot taller and stronger then before but that was to be expected, as I looked around I could see that the salamanders around me were all basically frozen but that doesn't matter right now because i was thirsty as hell like really thirsty I'm talking like I haven't drank anything in a week kind of thirsty

So when I started drinking out of the oasis I was only able to quench my thirst after drinking all of it and when I did I was able to see something very special in the bottom of the oasis a item known as a water generator

Not just any water generator though an infinite one from the realm of the gods, what many people in this world would consider the highest quality of divine item that people would fight wars over so of course I took it and stored it in my new inventory I got from evolving and basically completing the tutorial

I actually learned a lot of things while out hunting due to me constantly talking to my guide about not only the functions of my system but also the differences that this world has from the game I wasn't allowed to know all the differences for some reason but I still managed to get a pretty good amount of info

Anyways after getting the water generator I looked at the salamanders again and they were all still frozen from what looked like fear I was a bit confused as even with someone like Soren they wouldn't act like this so I looked at my skills and turns out my [Physical Enhancement] skill had evolved into [Aura] basically a better version of it with some extra stuff like also being able to enhance weapons and being able to put the fear status affect on someone weaker then you

While looking at my skills though I saw that a lot of them got a pretty major upgrade like how my [Fire Magic] went from C+ rank to B+ and the other also got a upgrade so that was nice, although all of this is nice I'm still a bit hungry and considering these salamanders are basically just walking meat might as well eat them but first I want to test this new body out a bit

After that I begin to run around a bit and soon raised just how much of an upgrade this new body was just from the movement speed alone I mean my reaction speed as a salamander was still good but the movement speed was absolute garbage

I was moving like 5 miles an hour or something but with this I can break the sound barrier without braking a sweat, though I do have to say all this running is getting me a bit hungry, but hey that's what these salamanders are for i though before I got on with the slaughter

Not gone lie considering everything I had eaten the salamanders were definitely the best they had a bit tougher meat but the kind that's actually good instead of like leather and the taste was actually pretty good a solid 7/10 but now that I'm full it's about time I tested my full capability's in this new body

After my tests were finally over the oasis looked even worse then the vast desert surrounding it, it looked as if a volcano had just exploded next to it then a meteor had hit it, it had puddles of magma scattered around it with glass scattered around as well and at the center there was a giant ball of flame that looked like a miniature sun and standing on top of it was a creature that looked like a small gray dragon that had no wing

"Well I guess now that I'm done it's about time I give Soren's little kingdom a visit and collect my rewards" i said as I jumped off the miniature sun I had created, though it would be idiotic to call it even similar to the sun, the only similarities between the sun and this thing are the appearance and the surface temperature

As I jumped off the giant ball of fire despaired and soon I began to run towards the location of Soren's kingdom being guided by a new quest that I had gotten, this quest was actually just one part of a much bigger quest which most people in the community preferred to as a journey

After a couple of seconds of running I was able to make it to Soren's kingdom which was kind of just a shit hole which I kind of expected, I mean the guy was an absolute idiot not only that but he was stupidly weak even when compared to people on his level, he had garbage stats on everything except his speed and luck which were only a little above average

Well it's no use complaining about a dead guy speaking of which considering Soren has been gone for so long I was expecting a lot more chaos, though it's probably because he had such a superiority complex he thought he was too good to be looked at by quote on quote peasants so even if he was gone for like a month they wouldn't notice

Now that I'm here time to get on with the the plan 1: steal all of Soren's stuff, 2: complete the ritual and establish contact with nyarlathotep and possibly make a good deal with him, 3: get geared and 4: get real magic
