World 4: Part 1: Ugh/Oh My Lord!

'WELCOME TO THE 4TH WORLD HOST!'

"Master Homura?"

"Master Homura, Are you sleeping again?"

Yang blinked his eyes a few times, he was sitting on a soft-cushion type single sofa with his head leaning on it. From his view above, he saw a man, probably a middle-age with thick glasses.

"Master Homura, sorry to interrupt your sweet nap but today's afternoon is not a good time for it" the man with glasses said.

Yang turned his head and then he scanned the man in front of him. He was tall, his body is just the average type. He had jet-black hair. But the most interesting thing about him was his clothing. 

He wore these polyester black long-sleeves and pants with red double lines on the hem, it was like a polo with collar. 

{Uhhh...Author? What is this all about?}

Yang made an unsure face secretly.

AUTHOR: I've been lurking here waiting for you to ask, go and check the information

A hologram showed up in front of Yang, containing the information he needed.

'You are Ishii Homura, Alpha. 22 years old. Next in line as the second progenitor. A noble family. The head general of the Demon Hunters Squad. The guy next to you is Tadashi, the secretary assigned to you.'

{Wait a minute!! D-Did I read it right?!!! A d-demon?!!}

AUTHOR: I told you to prepare for the next world, this is not an easy-peasy mission after all.

{Isn't it too early to meet a demon?}

AUTHOR: You're going to hell anyway

{H-Hey!! You!!!}

"Homuraaaaaa!!!!!!!"

The silence between Yang and Tadashi broke when the door flew to the window. While Tadashi just dodge it easily. Their heads both turned to the old place of the door.

A female was at the entrance, she was also wearing the same as Tadashi, but it was white with double blue lines on every hem, and instead of pants, she was wearing a skirt with a white cape. And there was a pin attached to her chest symbolizing 2 cross swords.

Yang scanned the lady, she was just tall enough for a teenage age. Her hair was long and pink with a bun above her head with bangs. Her almond brown eyes were directly glaring at him.

{Uhh..Who's her?}

The system flashed green and showed up the hologram once again.

'Reo Yuna, omega, 23 years old. The second general of the Demon Hunters Squad. She has a short-tempered and caring personality. You and her are childhood friends. She knows you better than anyone else and she loves violence'

"Homuraaa!!!!" Yuna dashed towards Yang and grabbed his collar "I told you to take the mission seriously! What the heck are you doing?! You are our General!!!" she snarled bluntly

Homura diverted his gaze as he nervously swayed his hands in the air "Y-Yuna..Can you please calm down?" 

Tadashi stepped in the middle and then he parted the two away "Please don't use violence towards each other, Young Miss and Master..The other squad are waiting for the plan, please do it with both cooperation" he said with a calm voice as he adjusted his eyeglasses.

Yuna crossed her arms "Humph! And who's fault it is? Slacking instead of taking responsibility!" she snorted

Yang remained silent since he didn't know what was going on. Yuna sat down in front of the table with him. Then he saw some papers on the table, and based on what he was seeing; it was like a plan notes.

"Uhh..Yuna, Can you..Uhh please state the situation right now?" he asked nervously

Yuna's brows twitched indicating that her suspicion of Homura slacking on his job is very true "You!" She was going to punch the male but Tadashi went behind her and cleared his throat, reminding the lady to calm down. 

It work, so Yuna sat down again "That bastard demons are still capturing children, and this days, the number of killed civilians are increasing, especially this past months" she explained 

Homura nodded back "Please continue.."

"With lack of training, our new recruits can't still handle missions alone, and our night squad raiders are needing more members and manpower" Yuna explained with her serious face

Homura felt something "Yuna..Uhh, so what you're trying to say is--"

Yuna quickly stood up before Homura continued talking, she pointed her index finger to the man "You! As the General of the squad, you will come with us tonight!" she exclaimed with his voice full of authority

Homura jolted in surprise "Ehhhh?!!!"

AUTHOR: Why are you so surprised?! As you know, the real Ishii Homura never participated in any missions before, he was just an airhead giving stupid plans to his subordinates

{Isn't too early to kill me?! I mean it's a demon!! We are facing demons!}

AUTHOR: You're always welcome in hell

"Damn, I'm bored" Homura sighed secretly

He shrugged his shoulders in dismay, then he looked up at the sky. He was wondering what really are these demons and what is their goal in taking children.

The moon was big and full. The night sky was aglow with bright city lights while darkness lurks in every corner. 

Homura's group were divided into four;

One for the watchers of civilians

The other was for rescue

  Another for security

And the last was them, the night hunters. 

Homura was leading the group, and Yuna was walking beside him as the second general. They're all doing the mission carefully to avoid disturbance.

He can describe it like a supernatural movie where they're hunting a dangerous species lurking in the night hunting its prey.

He secretly taps Yuna's shoulder "Ey, What time are we going back?" he whispered, the lady jolted in annoyance. Her hand went straight to the male to give him a flick on his forehead "Who's going home? Mister General, don't let your subordinates bring your worth down just because you're a lazy bas----"

Suddenly, a loud scream dominated the area, Yuna paused and all of their gazes went in different directions, finding where that voice came from.

One of his juniors came rushing to them, gasping his breath, he was from the civilian watchers "G-General!! There was a demon there!" he managed to report

Homura's eyes lighten with hope "Gahh!! I want to go home quickly!!" the he dashed to the said direction

He was so fast like his feet were accelerating with powers, he still lacked details about this enemy of theirs but he was so irritated that he already wanted to go back to Ishii Mansion. 

As he reached the dark alley, Homura's hood swayed with the air, revealing his face. He drew out his sword from his waist "Show yourself!" he exclaimed. His weapon slowly glows in blue like a fire dancing in it. He was quite amazed.

A shadow emerged from the corner, Homura couldn't see it's face well and he had no time to analyze it. 

SWOOSHH!!!

The shadow dashed to Homura in a second, but his senses were highly awake, it was like he was seeing it in slow motion. He swayed his sword, letting the enemy meet his glowing blue blade, and in an instant; it was cut in two.

{Oh my! I feel so powerful!}

He saw a little girl compressing itself into the old wood barrens, she was shaking and trembling in fear. He decided to put back his weapon and dashed to rescue her.

He bent down and reached his hand "Little girl, you are safe now, come with me!" he said in a very calm voice

The little girl's pupil dilated in assurance, knowing that she was safe. She quickly dashed in Homura's embrace, hugging his waist. 

The two headed out, but the little girl suddenly stopped so Homura looked at her with confusion "What is it? Did you forget someth---"

WHACK!!!!

Homura hit the ground with his blood dripping from his waist, the little girl was bait. It turned into a human form, it was a man with a black hood. His red eyes were showing satisfaction.

He giggled "Such an idiot" then he grabbed weak Homura by his collar and threw him into the air.

Homura groaned in pain the moment he hit the wall, he was losing so much blood that his whole body couldn't move anymore. The man revealed his hands, his nails turned to sharp blades. He once again seized Homura's neck, lifting him up in the air.

"My dinner will be delicious tonight" then he opened his mouth, letting his fangs exposed to Homura's eyes

{Was it a vampire?!!! What should I do?! Am I going to die this quick!}

AUTHOR: Rebooting is always an option

Homura gathered all his left strength as he clenched his fist. He was trying to draw his sword when the grip on his neck loosened. He fell on the ground, his nerves were shaking "It's very cold, Am I going to die here" he thought for the last time

Before losing his consciousness completely, he saw his enemy showered in it's own blood, wide-eyes opened and dead.

A man with a hood walked towards the unconscious body of the General, he crouched down and cupped Homura's cheeks. Then a mischievous smirk stretched his lips.

"You shall be mine…"
