[Being rewritten]

Gremmy lives on the streets and has never gotten anything good. Well, that is about to change. He stumbles upon a mysterious figure standing behind a table. The figure tells him that he can take one of the potions. Gremmy takes it and finds himself in the body of the Quincy Gremmy Thoumeaux. As he begins to understand what is happening he begins to make his own plans and refuses to be a pawn in the Quincy King's plans. _________________________________ The other account was also mine and I got a mess and decided to post it here. Soul Society

Gremmy found himself in the Dangai. It was truly weird seeing all those stacked-up layers of time-currents. A bit disgusting as well.

He had no idea how it worked though. But he knew that he could just imagine to understand how they worked. And that is exactly what he did. He imagined to understand the Dangai and feel the time-currents.

...

...

And it worked. How could it not? Although he had made tremendous progress, he was not sure if that worked, but would you look at that ... it did.

Gremmy understood how the time-currents were stacked up and he could feel them being folded. It was truly remarkable and he was unsure why it was done like this. At least at first, but then he understood.

The reason for the folding of time was to give the Dangai the stability it had. Otherwise, the chaotic torrents of time and reishi would cut it to shreds and isolate the Soul Society from the human world and Hueco Mundo.

But through the stacking and folding of time and reishi, it formed this mucus-like current that held it together like too much glue. Truly smart and also a weird way of doing it.

.

As Gremmy was in the Dangai he tried to make the best of his time until the Kōtotsu came around. He sat down and focused on creating something special. He for the first time tried to create a chemical reaction. Something very easy at first.

The synthesis reaction which leads to the formation of water from its elements, hydrogen, and oxygen, to be specific:

2 H2(g) + O2(g) → 2 H2O(g)

He imagined the correct ratio of 2:1 hydrogen to oxygen and then imagined them reacting together, forming water. After what felt like an hour, he had a small blob of water in front of him, floating through his imagination.

.

.

(Gremmy POV)

"Let's gooo! Oh, what a feeling. This is what the Molecule Man must have felt like when he got his powers. I am interested in going to the DC Universe and acquiring some of Element X. Element X is the metal of pure imagination personified, having the ability to shape and materialize anything the user can think of and make it into reality. I could make armour out of it or something."

I focused on the blob of water and imagined the reverse reaction happening. It was an amazing feeling to do this and a bit addicting. I had to focus on my Occlumency... a lot!

Something that most if not all Reality Warpers have in common is that they eventually all go bat-shit crazy. And who wouldn't with all that power at your fingertips? But that was the last thing I wanted. I would not go crazy and I would also not lose my humility, as being arrogant is what kills the most powerful of beings.

I repeated the synthesis reaction again and again until I could do it without focusing on it. That was my usual way of training. As soon as something no longer needed focus, I would increase the difficulty. And in this case, it meant, I would increase the amount of molecules I used at the same time.

I did the same amount of molecules but in two different places and had them go through the reaction at the same time. Thanks to my training, I was very adept at multitasking. So this was easy still.

I added more and more molecules until it got easy again and then tried to do the reverse reaction at the same time as the synthesis reaction with another part. Then I added other reactions to the mix and created different things.

And so on.

This went on until I felt the Kōtotsu arrive. It was like a fast-approaching train that told me it was time to go. I also understood that the seven-day period at which the Kōtotsu arrived was counted in the overworld. This was equivalent to 5 hours in the Dangai.

(3rd Person POV)

So Gremmy stood up and stretched. He then got ready and imagined a Senkaimon to the Soul Society. Gremmy imagined the Senkaimon taking him to the outskirts of Soul Society. Beyond the Zaraki districts. That was his safest bet to not get attacked.

However... it might have been a better idea to just appear close to the Shin'o Academy to enrol in it. Eh, he waved his worries away and decided to just go and walk towards the inner parts of the Seireitei.

(In the First Division Assembly Hall)

In the Assembly Hall, the captains were called for an urgent meeting and they all arrived.

"What is this about Genryusai?", asked Chika Shihōin. The Captain of the Second Division was as laid back as ever. Going as far as calling the Headcaptain by his first name.

"Captain Shihōin, I told you multiple times not to call me by my first name. You better remember this ...

Now as for why you all have been called. Captain Zenjōji, if you will."

Uhin Zenjōji the Captain of the 12th Division nodded and then started his report.

"Earlier today we picked up on activity inside the Dangai. We are still unclear about who or what could have caused it. But after Kōtotsu arrived the activity stopped. It can therefore be assumed that the problem has either been destroyed or has escaped the Dangai."

Zenjōji was a large and corpulent man with fair skin, small grey eyes, and a large mouth. Despite his look and bloodthirst, he was a smart man. It was no wonder that the 12th Division would be known as the division of scientists in the future.

"What are we expected to do about this?", Entetsu Kumoi, Captain of the 9th Division asked.

"Yeah seems a bit farfetched to call a meeting for something like this, no?", Danjirō Obana, Captain of the 5th Division said.

"Do you think there could be another invasion, from the Quincies? I thought we killed them all, no?", Batsu'unsai Katori, Captain of the 8th Division asked, with an innocent expression that hid how dangerous she truly was.

"Not all ... Juha Bach will probably come back. But not now, no?", Furuoki Ōtogawa, Captain of the 10th Division remarked.

"Boring, as long as there is something to fight, I'm game, but for this? You shouldn't have called me.", Furōfushi Saitō, Captian of the 6th Division said with an annoyed expression.

She liked to fight just as much as the future Kenpachi Zaraki did, but she was not strong enough to be the current Kenpachi, as that position went to Yachiru Unohana.

"Always out for blood, eh Furōfushi.", teased Nobutsuna Shigyō, the current Captain of the 7th Division.

Nobutsuna was a tall, lanky, and pale man with visibly sunken skin on his face and chest, particularly around his grey eyes.

"Hee, look who's talking Nobutsuna, better keep your mouth shut before I cut it open and give your scarred face another addition.", Furōfushi answered him.

These two had some form of rivalry going on between them. They were both equally as dangerous and bloodthirsty but neither of them could beat Unohana. So they frequently fought against each other to see who was stronger.

They were a bit crazy.

"Hehe, I'd love to see you try."

.

And just as these two were about to clash, Yamamoto interfered.

"Enough! Uhin Zenjōji was correct to notify me of this. Juha Bach and the Quincies were defeated, but a redemption strike is not unthinkable. I want you all to keep a lookout for anything that might sound or seem suspicious. You are to act with full caution.

Now on to another topic. The time for enrollment into the Shin'o Academy is upon us and with it the graduates of the sixth year. You are expected to choose Shinigami who you believe would fit into your respective Divisions. We are still short on members after the war, so get to it.

Dismissed!"

.

.

So Gremmy's visit to the Dangai has been noted but he does not worry about that. He is currently walking towards the centre of the Seireitei. His looks have changed already. He has decided to not look like Luffy for the centuries he will live here.

He will slowly take the look of Toji Fushiguro. You can never go wrong with the Toji look. The name worked as well and he could already feel his awesomeness rise.

As for the ability he would showcase, it was matter manipulation. Yes, Gremmy thought about simply using the power of the Human Human fruit: Model Nika, but he decided to go beyond that. He would go for matter manipulation and then try to join the 4th Division.

Just imagine him joining the 4th Divison and healing people by manipulating their blood, that was bonkers. He would be seriously powerful and what's more ... his future Captain would be Yachiru Unohana or Retsu Unohana as she will be known.

There would be some cool characters to interact with. For now, there was Shunsui Kyōraku, the future Captain of the 8th Division and Jūshirō Ukitake, the future Captain of the 13th Division.

In the future, probably relatively soon, Yachiru Unohana would meet the young Kenpachi Zaraki, so that would also be exciting. And then others like Kisuke Urahara, Yoruichi Shihōin and even Sosuke Aizen too.

Gremmy had exciting times ahead of him and he is giddy to experience them.

.

[Gremmy will from now on be called Toji]

.

Toji made his way to the Shin'o Academy. At this point, there weren't that many Shinigami. This made sense as the war with the Quincy was not long ago.

Toji was still unconvinced about how he should act. He wanted to be free and also act carefree. He was not an idiot like Luffy but he was also not as serious as someone like Kaname Tosen or even Toshiro Hitsugaya.

He would find a middle ground and take the situation as they came. Staying himself and enjoying it.

There weren't many recruits present. It seemed like there was no minimum requirement at this point in time. The Gotei 13 were in desperate need of new Shinigmai, so they took anyone willing to enrol.

That was all the better for Toji. Not that he wouldn't make the cut, no. He just wanted to check out the other students before he made a name for himself. He wanted to be known for his fighting prowess as well as his power in healing.

A proper balance was key here. He liked to fight against his former Master Kaito as the feeling of growing stronger was very addicting and he loved to experience his growth as he was the one to push his current limits, by himself.

Toji stepped in line and waited for his turn. A Shinigami was taking notes on all the names of the 'commoners' that entered the Shin'o academy. In the future, this would be the place where Reatsu was measured and recruits were sorted into classes.

"Name?", the Shinigami asked Toji.

"Toji Fushiguro."

"And you wish to become a Shingami?"

"Yes sir."

"Good, hold your hand here on this ball."

"Alright ... what does it do?", Toji asked as he put his palm on the crystal ball.

"It's a Reatsu measuring ball. It is only to see whether you have reatus and are fit to become a Shinigami."

The crystal ball started to shine brightly and then ... exploded. The crystal ball exploded and shocked the examining Shinigami. He had wide eyes as he looked at the broken table where the ball used to be.

"Huh?"
