A door opened, the door to ryuma's room to more precise.
Because today was a busy one, he arrived to his apartment later than he wanted to. He had to aid his fellow chefs with breakfast, lunch and dinner. While also giving them a few tips and tricks
After cooking breakfast, he went on to his apartment to complete his daily training task. Then making another meal for himself as the hashbrowns didn't satisfy his hunger. And just as he was about to get some rest, he was called to cook lunch. much to his displeasure
At lunch time he managed to cook despite being sweaty, thankfully no one noticed how his uniform was a bit wet…
Since there was an increased amount of people around due to it being much later than the day, he had to stay preparing meals for an longer amount. With the help of his other new co-workers of course.
Dinner… was special. While he was serving customers because of xin yi being absent, he saw a familiar face of a certain character
'I could've sworn i saw a moraless grandpa…' ryuma said to himself
Other then that, you could say that he was simply working as an ordinary chef would.

He finally sat down on his bed.
Although no one would believe it, being a chef is a bit tiring when a low amount of individuals work to cook for a high amount of guests
Though it isn't that high… as there were only 52 guests to serve, but its still a lot for 3 chefs.
Other then training, He also didn't use the system during his working hours. Causing him to almost forget it, almost.
Ryuma just recalled to himself that he needs to claim the rewards of his newly-accomplished quests, so he didn't waste a single second and opened the rewards tab.

'Speaking of gacha… I haven't rolled for anything for a long time now, and I didn't train my abilities much… i should test my luck today, i may get lucky for once' he mused to himself, he assumed that since he hasn't rolled in along time, he'll get something good. He hoped…
After exiting the rewards tab, he went on to the gacha tab. He was greeted by the same things he saw last time

He's definitely avoiding the character roll, he doesn't want to get involved in anything concerning it.
But other then that, he got 3 options to choose from.
Ability roll. which he can obtain almost any ability from any anime that exists. Like ki, domain expansion, telekinesis and devil fruits. While also containing fodder ones to balance each things out
Or the weapons roll. Same reason as the the ability roll. Just with weapons
But the clothes and accessories roll was unique, and a forgiving option to choose from. As clothes give something to wear to either as a disguise, or simply because its comfortable
Accessories work like artifacts would. From what he has seen, they give you buffs and increases in any stat depending on what accessory it is, so he can probably get something that would benefit him well. AND being able to use and wear artifacts from this world. So there wasn't any downsides to this roll at all. Making it an fantastic choice for him to choose
So far, ryuma doesn't need any abilities he wants. He sees that the venom application and drilling throw are enough for now. Especially since he is currently physical at the moment
But the weapons on the other hand, might be a necessity for him.
As his dual swords were beginning to rust away due to them… probably being old since they belong to a grandpa, they are becoming no use to him. So he should get new ones for himself, preferably rare and powerful ones
Clothes and accessories… are necessary. No other words to explain this
Not only is he lacking in a proper wardrobe, but accessories are so damn powerful that he couldn't believe that he didn't roll on this tab, he's clearly missing out if he continues to ignore it further
'Hm… i notice that i cant't see how many rolls i have saved up. system, may i see how many rolls i have please?' he nicely requested

Going back to his life on earth, he just couldn't save up wishes for characters he wants.
Right when his primogems hit 160, he instantly wished on the banner, only to be greeted by blue disappointment. he just couldn't save them up for future characters…
This also led him to getting things he didn't want at all…
Qiqi… the bane of every unsuspecting player pulling on a character banner.
Forget it, it isn't something he should focus on as he isn't playing genshin impact anymore. Save your primos for stuff you actually want, gambling addicts.
Now, he should actually begin rolling for new things and stop delaying it

Unlike last time he rolled, the light has disappeared, meaning everything went black. Trapping him in what seems like an empty space or a void covered in pitch black
This was unexpected. Last time he rolled, it just showed him a window of what he got. Not this happening. This also reminded him of the time of when he met xie shen, where he couldn't move at all and only spew out some words
But unlike that meeting from a time ago, he could see his body. And He could move it freely
"What in the absolute shit!? Where the hell am i?!"
Ryuma was momentarily stunned by this, until he noticed a distinct ball-shaped object. It was very hard to see as it was dark, making it blend with the void he's currently in, But what made him notice it was the faint glowing outline of a dark grey color surrounding it
As he was observing it, the ball began sucking in purple-like energy, turning out to be like a black hole absorbing matter from a star
It continued to swallow the purple energy, until it stopped and sat there, menacingly
It began to crack, and the cracks were glowing purple. It seemed like it was opening. until finally, the black color shattered and showed a purple light in the aftermath
"I see, i think the system updated the gacha system, it's basically the usual animation when you get something. Judging from the purple energy, it turned out to be a 4 star, or epic i should say since this is how the system rates it" he speculated the bizarre scene infront of him
This opening was extremely unique. And he recognized it was the usual animation for getting
An item, weapon or a character. Afterall, whats a gacha game without the gacha animation?
Being able to control his limbs freely. he somehow walked to the purple ball, and grabbed it in his hands
He didn't know what to do, throw it the ball? Dribble the ball? Or… shatter it?
The third was the most probable one out of the other two methods, so he grasped it hard. Putting a lot of pressure on it to make sure it succeed breaking it.
Slowly but surely, the purple ball began shattering one again, different from the last time. And exploded, tons of items went all over the place, yet the bunch of materials stayed close for him to interact with.
There was 2 items glowing purple, seeing the accessory-like item being closer then the other one. he checked its stats only being greeted with disappointment

Like every genshin player, def%, hp%, def+ and hp+ always haunted him, he couldn't even get one crit circlet despite him using 1200 resin on the domain, Seeing this just gave him PTSD
Ryuma sighed loudly, he really does hate his artifacts rng when farming. or rolling, since he got them from his rolls instead of resin
Deciding to pay his attention to something else, he saw another object glowing purple.
Walking towards it, it looked like a set of clothes. This was expected, of course.
Looking at it, it was a jacket belonging to a suit. everything about it was black except golden tree-like pattern located in the left of the jacket, from the torso to the arm. Making it look unique and a sense of fashion

While the pants were ordinary black pants, having the usual button to close it and some pockets to store the usual stuff you'd put.

If ryuma was to wear this, it'll definitely make him stand out from the rest. But it had the image of an businessman too, but thats in ryuma's view. He didn't know about how the liyue citizens would react
Despite the outfit being bizarre compared to liyue citizens, ryuma would wear it nonetheless. Its no problem to stand out a bit, right? Clothing would only make people notice you. They'd forget you exist by a day or two
Besides, this fit reminded him of the standard clothes of a main character in novels. So he would only wear this once in a while
After finishing with the clothes, he looked around just to see that there is no other purple glowing object. Only blue objects remaining for him to discover
He checked them all out, most of them turned out to be as useless as the purple rarity object. With the exception of 2 accessories

Those are the best 2 out of all the 20 mash of clothes and accessories, they weren't that good but it was acceptable.
He'll roll on this gacha tab later to get the rest of the set for the bonus, it's extremely overpowered. But other than that, he'll just wear random accessories that have a decent stat bonus

After what its seems like an hour, he finally exited the dark void he was temporarily trapped in
Now that he finished the accessories and clothing tab, he'll go on to the weapons roll. he did want a need a new weapon afterall.
Tapping on the weapons roll for 20 rolls, he experienced the same thing as the previous one. this time he didn't silently freak out like the last time, as he expected it.
Everything went just exactly like last time. Black hole absorbing purple energy, stops absorbing it and begins to crack, then they black layer shattered and revealed a purple ball of energy
He walked up to it once again, and grasped it firmly. Causing it to explode and reveal a bunch of items
But this time, he can use everything here if he wanted to.
There was 2 purple objects glowing, like last time. It seems that its related to genshin's pity system, 10 pity = 4 star/epic
He walked up to the closest one, and it revealed something actually usable for him

( A/N: if you don't understand, mastery is basically like levels. the more you use it, the more it levels up. Its just named mastery for this )
"Despite this weapon being quite decent, this weapon is really cliché… almost every fantasy game ive seen has this type of weapon. It'll be better if this was called 'vampire blah blah blah' or something" ryuma pointed out, he seen a lot of life steal weapons. He's not into them that much but he'll still use this for sticky situations
Deciding on keeping it, ryuma look around for the second purple rarity weapon.
Seeing it, he obviously approached it. And what he saw surprised him, and it built some excitement inside of him
